My Review:

I've read and liked L.P. Dover's books and Turn of the Moon didn't disappoint at all. From the cover to the synopsis, Dover delivers a story full of twists and turns that will leave you wanting for more.

In this story we have one girl, and two wolves ready to battle each other out. But it turns out that she is already promised to one and destined for the other. At the beginning of the story we get to meet Bailey Whitehill, daughter of an alpha, whose just found out that she has been promised to Kade (Yukon Pack alpha). Needless to say, Bailey is completely devastated at the news and begs her father to let her be with someone she loves. But she has to marry someone powerful and her dad has already made the decision for her. The only choice that she has left is whether staying is a good idea or leaving everything behind. After Kade tried to force himself on her, she does the unthinkable and kills him. With the clock ticking, she leaves her home and doesn't look back. This however, is only short lived because she is tracked by another wolf, one that she feels something towards but doesn't know why.

Her life immediately starts to change, and that's when the story truly begins. As Bailey's life starts to twist and turn, we start to find out why she was promised to someone that is not her mate, and where her real one is. As Bailey starts her new life, she meets new people and that special someone that has been lurking the in shadows waiting to mark her as his own. I really enjoyed reading this story, it's something a bit different and it was a good quick book to read. I have to say that the very first chapter was truly shocking and that got me hooked. The way things start in the story were interesting, and I really liked the characters as well. Bailey is a strong female character who as the daughter of an alpha,  needs to be able to rule her pack. But it's her rebellious persona that keeps her alive and she is able to find the answers that she needs in the end. When she meets her true mate, she doesn't believe who he is and what he tells her. But as the two start to put the pieces together, she realizes just how much her parents lied to her.

Ryker (Bailey's mate) is dreamy, handsome and caring towards Bailey that he made the story that much more interesting to read. He is the perfect ruler who is compassionate, and cares about his pack. As the two start to spend more time together, their chemistry starts to grow even more. Overall, I really enjoyed reading something new from the author. If you're looking for a good paranormal romance story filled with drama, romance, battles, and steamy scenes then I would highly recommend reading this book. It will not disappoint at all. :)
