Danger. Passion. Obsession.

Heir to a worthless title, Christophe Marchand knows the only way to build an empire in the twenty-first century is with single-minded focus and cold, hard pragmatism.

Which means no distractions.

But that’s before he lays eyes on Charlotte Duval.

Charlotte Duval is no man’s arm candy.

An expert in antique furniture, Charlotte is in Paris to close up her recently deceased father’s antique store. Her plan? Finish the job as quickly as possible, preferably without touching the still-tender wound of their estranged relationship, and return to L.A..

And even the enigmatic Christophe Marchand can’t tempt her to stay.

Then the discovery of an elaborate ring hidden inside a 16th century writing desk sets off a chain of events that sends her to Christophe for protection. Soon the pair are traveling to Vienna in search of answers to an unsolved theft that once rocked the art world. But when their hunt intersects with an ominous takeover of Christophe’s business, it becomes clear that their common cause will either destroy them — or force them to come to terms with the true price of love.

WASTED is a new adult, contemporary romance recommended for adult readers due to mature content.

It all started with sex on the beach…the drink, not…you know.

As a bartender, Mason Cambridge often charmed beautiful women who ordered up cocktails on his shift. It was part of his job after all, and he needed the tips—badly.

When Lexi Swafford plopped her pretty little tail down on the bar stool, Mason offered her a drink. He had no idea that he would soon be working with her or that he’d be letting her room with him until her new apartment was ready.

In fact, once Lexi Swafford landed in Creekview, Tennessee, life as Mason Cambridge knew it would cease to exist…because after a night of drinking away the agony of his loneliness, one touch from her would change everything.

WASTED is the first book in the WHISKEY NIGHTS series. Since each book focuses on a different couple, they can be read as stand-alones, but many readers may prefer to read them in order for maximum enjoyment.

Welcome to Big D!ck Escort Service.
If you need a date, we've got you.
If you need wining and dining, we've got you.
If you need a night you'll never forget-- buckle-up buttercup, because that's our specialty.
We'll give you what you need, as hard as you need it.

All the girls call me Thunder.

As in, they need to feel the Thunder between their thighs.

I'm a legend. My waiting list is a mile long. The ladies crave me, and they'll pay for the pleasure.

But though I hate to disappoint--everyone knows I leave my clients satisfied--it's getting old. Money, sex, and rock 'n roll can get stale. Who knew?

I might just finish up, and pull out. I'll take one more gig, rock her world, and see my way out.

I'll show one last lucky lady why they call me Thunder.

* * *

That rotten, no good--

My ex-boyfriend of too many years just left me three weeks before the most important wedding of my life.

I wanted to make a statement at that wedding. I've changed. I'm no longer the loser who got dumped by the popular boy in high school. Now I'm a successful business woman with clear skin.

But how can I possibly make that sort of statement as a loner?

I can't, that's how.

So when my friend suggests hiring a date from the Big D!ck Escort Service, it was hard to laugh it off. And as the days ticked by, it was harder and harder to deny that I needed saving.

No sex, though. I'm not that kinda girl. I'll just hire the guy for a date, and nothing else.

Just one date without any funny-business. That's do-able, right?
This is a full-length, sexy rom-com STANDALONE novel with lots of jokes, steam and shenanigans.

My Review:

It’s been a while since I’ve read anything by Willow Summer, but when I saw the cover and the synopsis I couldn’t wait to read the book and it didn’t disappoint at all. Thunder is the first book in the Big D Escort series and it follows the story of two total opposites who end up going on an adventure that would ultimately change their lives forever. At the beginning of the story we get to meet Colton “Thunder,” whose live as an escort is starting to tired him out. He wants to start something new and start a family if he finds the right girl. But being on demand and having a long list of women ready to pay anything to be with him is making it harder for him to quit. It is when there is a request for an escort that doesn’t work for the company anymore that interests him and he decides to take one last client before leaving for good. Little did he know that meeting Madison would change the course of his life.

It all began with an invitation to a wedding that Madison wasn’t expecting to get invited to, and now that her boyfriend suddenly breaks up with her she has no one to go to the wedding with. Madison hasn’t always had the best luck when it comes to guys and she has been hurt in the past. Her best friend has been her rock and when she decides to hire an escort, her friend is supportive of her decision. It’s when she meets Colton for the first time that Madison knows that he is different and the more time they spend together the more she wants to be with him. But soon she starts to question her relationship with him and that could threaten their relationship going forward.

I enjoyed reading Thunder very much, it was funny and romantic. Colton was sweet towards Maddison from the very beginning and he supported her when she needed him the most. It’s evident from the start that both of the characters just want to move on with their lives, but by helping each other they are ultimately growing closer than ever before. I loved the secondary characters in the story as well, they gave the book the edge that it needed. From beginning to end, the author did a great job describing the setting and developing the characters. The ending will definitely leave you wanting for more. I highly recommend reading this book and any other by the author. :)

My Rating:

“He’s heading this way,” Colton said before sipping his water.

“Who? James?” Madison looked up at the front table. The seat was empty. She caught sight of him off to the side, chatting with an older couple. “No, look. The bride is making the rounds on the other side of the room. He’ll probably stick with greeting family and friends.”

“There’s a reason he’s been glancing at you since we sat down. He doesn’t want to ridicule you. He wants to make a connection. He’ll work this way, I guarantee it. He’s probably waiting for me to get a drink. We’re both dry—it would only be logical for me to get up and grab a round now that there’s a break. Everyone else is.”

Confusion stole through her. “He’s been glancing at me?”

Colton’s hand rested on the base of her neck. “You haven’t noticed?”

She thought back, because no, she really hadn’t. It belatedly occurred to her that she’d been completely focused on every touch of Colton’s fingers. Every syllable he uttered. The jokes disguised in his upbeat praise of the food and wine. Conversation felt so easy with him, and silence was even easier. Comfortable. Full of potential. In all that time, she hadn’t thought to look up at James once. She hadn’t been worried, or interested, or self-conscious.

Honestly, she hadn’t thought of him at all. That was a nice surprise.

“He’s putting effort into establishing a connection,” Colton said, his hand applying pressure to her neck, pulling her closer. “I don’t know if he would ever act on it, but he’s certainly trying to put you in a position that gives him an opportunity.”

“With me?” She huffed. “Dream on. I’m sure he still sees that nerd he left crying on the steps of the high school. Tim clearly does.”

“Tim’s an idiot.” Colton’s big fingers touched her chin. She let him turn her face in his direction, his beautiful blue eyes deep and soft. “You have no idea how entrancing you are, do you? You are an incredible catch. No man alive would turn you down. Women are probably terrified of you for that fact, but I doubt they could hate you. Not after meeting you. You’re too sweet to be hated. Too modest to be jealous of. You’re the whole package, Maddie. How can you not see that? Why wasn’t Frank telling you all of this constantly? You should be bored of hearing it by now, not blushing and shaking your head.”

She stopped shaking her head, her heart swelling and a laugh rising up to the surface. “You’re worth every penny.”

Frustration and embarrassment crossed his expression. His eyes flicked upward, and the next moment he was leaning toward her, closing the distance. “I’m going to kiss you, Maddie. Are you ready?”

A jolt of excitement coursed through her. She licked her lips as her stomach spun, nervous and anxious and totally freaking out.

It’s just a kiss. Calm down!

Those lips moved closer, parted just slightly, promising heaven and unicorns and swirly glitter bombs. A hand landed on her knee, and the other wrapped around the back of her neck, guiding her in like a landing zone. It was wise—she was definitely worried about a crash landing.

His soft lips glanced off hers at first, light and teasing. A shock of electricity tore through her. Her sex tightened, her stomach flipped, and her heart started pounding in her ears. Light and teasing was not going to work. She needed deep, hard, and fast. His body smashing into hers. His cock making her scream.

He nibbled her bottom lip before opening her mouth with his and flicking his tongue inside. She moaned and leaned into him, clutching against his chest helplessly, losing herself in the taste of him, sweet and wild. His hand drifted up her thigh. She opened her knees, unable to help it.

Without warning, the kiss took on a life of its own. Deepening. Consuming. His tongue thrust into her mouth, forcing out small moans. The fire of his touch kindled the raw passion she’d always dreamed of finding with someone. She fell into it, losing herself.

Just as suddenly as the kiss had escalated into exciting and oh so hot, he backed off. Pulled away.

Not expecting it, she lost her balance and pitched forward. Her knees dusted the ground and she face-planted into his chest.

“Sorry,” she mumbled into his shirt. His strong hands found her upper arms and basically hoisted her into her seat. “Sorry,” she said again, looking at the wet mark of drool on his pristine shirt. Thankfully she hadn’t reapplied lipstick after dinner. “I’m a klutz.”

His stern face didn’t show any emotion, but the tightness around his eyes suggested a problem.

“Sorry,” she said again, checking her knee. There was a slight rub against the fabric. “This is why I don’t wear pretty dresses.” She dusted it off, as if that would help.

✯REVIEW BLITZ:✯ xo, Zach by Kendall Ryan

xo, Zach by Kendall Ryan

Release Date: January 23rd 2018 by Kendall Ryan Books
Pages: 299
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

The first time we met was at a party.

Your ex arrived to show off the person he'd left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date.

I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty--and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days.

The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing.

The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact.

I know I'm crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that's the only reaction I can get out of you, I'll gladly take it.

You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week.

I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong. I know that I'm only supposed to be the adviser to your program and nothing more, but here's the thing. I think you're falling for me too.

xo, Zach

Purchase: Amazon, iBooks, Nook, Kobo

My Review:

Having read other books by Kendall Ryan before they have never disappoint and xo, Zach was no different. The story was truly heartwarming and sweet as we got to see the characters transition into the next step in their lives. In the story we get to meet Poppy, a college student whose recent brake up has her focusing on her school work rather than guys. When her friend invites her to a party she never expected to see her ex, without wanting to be seen alone she selects a random guy and asks him to pretend that they’re together. But after one smoking hot kiss between them leaves them wanting for more, Poppy gets away from the scene without knowing if she’ll see him again. It is the next day that she finds out that the stranger, Zach is non other than her advisee in her poetry program and she’ll have to work with him in order to graduate. Soon their meetings start to get more frequent and the two start to get to know each other better. What Poppy realizes then is that the sexual tension between them is unavoidable and she has to keep her distance if she doesn’t want to get hurt.

Zach never expected to see Poppy again, but the kiss that they shared at the party is constantly playing in his mind and he is happy to see that she is his advisee. He knows that they can’t have a relationship or he’ll lose his job, but when they’re together it’s hard to avoid the chemistry that they have. Soon he wants to be with her all the time, but it’s the secret that she’s been holding that could threaten their future together that will prove to be the ultimate test.

xo, Zach was such a fantastic read, Ryan did a great job describing the characters while making them relatable. There wasn’t a huge conflict in the story, but it was lighthearted and sweet. The poetry in the story worked really well. There are a couple of twist and turns that will leave everyone at the edge of their seats, you will not see them coming. I was pleasantly surprised with the twist and the ending will you wanting for more. If you’re looking for a good romance story filled with lots of chemistry and a great ending, I would highly recommend reading this book!

Find out in the new sexy, hilarious romantic comedy from Lila Monroe!

My Review:

From the sexy cover to the intriguing synopsis, Monroe delivers a truly entraining read filled with lots of romance and steamy scenes to keep you reading until the very end. In Very Irresistible Playboy we get to meet Hallie, an aspiring photographer whose dream is to branch out on her own and make a name for herself in the business. While she saves money to do that, Hallie takes side work in photography hoping to slowly get her name out there. But when things go wrong at a wedding she was supposed to be taking photos of, she bumps into a stranger who needs her help and after one kiss and a good bye Hallie does’t know if she’ll ever see the guy again. It is after getting a call to interview at Carlisle Publishing that she finally has hope again that they’ll be able to see her work, but when things don’t turn out then way she wanted them to she ends up sitting at a cafe with a stranger who happens to offer her help. She knows that Olivia is her ticket to getting to work again, but when she explains Hallie what the job will entail, she’ll have to make a decision that will ultimately change her future forever.

Max Carlisle is used to getting everything he wants, but when he is needed back at his grandfather’s state to celebrate his birthday he knows that his mother is going to bug him if she doesn’t see him in a relationship. It is that he enlists the help of Olivia of The Agency to help him find the perfect fake girlfriend for the job, but when he sees Hallie again he knows that he is in deep trouble and as they get to know each other the more he wants to keep her. But when his grandfather surprises the family with a new will, two embark on an adventure that will challenge their relationship and prove if they can have a future at all.

I absolutely loved the storyline and the characters themselves. Monroe has definitely a great writing style that will keep you reading until the very end. One of the things that I loved about this story was the humor! The characters know how to bicker back and forth and it’s hilarious. Hallie’s personality is sassy and she has a response for everything. She is also a very hard worker who definitely wants to learn more and make a name for herself. On the the other hand, Max is chairman and sweet. He is very protective over Hallie which is totally swoon worthy, we all need a Max in our lives. I also loved the “adventure” that they go to after they find out about the will, it was great seeing them work as a team. There wasn’t a big conflict in the story, but it was comedic and sweet. The ending will leave your heart melting and I cannot recommend it enough. Will definitely be reading the next books in the series and other books by the author in the future. ;)

***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.***

My Rating:

Max sets me down gently, and brushes a strand of wet hair from my face. His eyes are stormy blue in the darkness, and his fingertips hot against my face.

My breath catches. My eyes drift to his mouth, and then just like that, he’s pulling me close again, into a hot, reckless kiss.

God, I’ve been dying to taste him again. His mouth is hard and possessive, claiming mine, and a shudder of lust rolls through me at the feel of him. His hands are all over me, molding me against him as the fire between us blazes hotter, and I forget everything. Like my rules, and our arrangement, and the fact I’ve sworn off men like him . . . None of it matters, not with Max’s tongue doing wicked things to mine, and his body so hard against me.

Very hard.

Combining her passions for books, sex, and well-fitted suits, Lila Monroe wrote her first romantic comedy, The Billionaire Bargain, in 2015 and hasn’t stopped since. She loves writing about smart alpha men, and the strong and sassy women who try to tame them.

Thanks for stopping by! :)
