✯REVIEW BLITZ:✯ The Wright Secret by K.A. Linde

The Wright Secret by K.A. Linde

Release Date: January 9th 2018 by K.A. Linde Inc.
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

A new brother’s-best-friend stand alone romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I was just his best friend’s little sister.

But he was always more than that to me.

After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.

Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.

There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.

So I’m willing to keep our secret...

Because I want him Wright here, right now.

My Review:

Having read the previous books in the Wright series, I couldn’t have been more excited when I found out that Morgan was getting her own story and it didn’t disappoint at all.

In this particular story we get to meet Morgan Wright, one of the younger Wright siblings in the family. Having grown up with wealth and prestige, Morgan still wanted to succeed in her career and make a name for herself. When she is offered the position as CEO of her family’s company, she is ecstatic and ready to take the job that she worked so hard to get. But when people within the company start to doubt her potential she makes the decision to work start hard to show them that she is capable of getting the work done. That is until her brother’s best friend/employee, Patrick shows up to hand her his two week notice. With everything going around her she didn’t see that one coming especially when by quitting she knows that she is not going to see him at work again and that will ultimately crush her heart. After developing a secret crush on Patrick for years, Morgan has never told him and that made his resignation a lot harder to take. She knows that she is lucky to have an amazing career and family, but she wants what all her brothers have and that is love. It is after Patrick starts to show feelings towards her that she wants to be with him, yet there are people that have threatened her career and she’ll have to decide if pursuing a relationship with Patrick is worth it.

For Patrick being surrounded by those he loves is the most important thing in his life and although he has worked for the Wrights for a while he can’t wait to take a different turn in his career. He wants to make a name for himself without always being associated with the Wright family. But that doesn’t always help since he has feelings towards Morgan and now that he is no longer working at the company he wants to finally make a move on her. What should have been easy, it started to become difficult the minute he thought of her brother and hiding a relationship with her could end up hurting them in the end.

I loved all the previous books in the Wright series, they are charming and full of romance. Each sibling has their own battles to fight and Morgan is not different. She has the best personality out of all the siblings, she is strong and independent. I liked how she loves her career and wants to make things work. On the other hand, Patrick was definitely swoon worthy and protective. He protected Morgan when she needed him the most and it all worked out very well. Overall, the story truly takes us through a journey of growth and love. There wasn’t a big conflict or anything overly dramatic in the story, but we do get a sweet ending that’s for sure. I love the secondary characters and their roles in the story. I cannot wait to read Sutton’s story, it would be great to see what happens with the youngest Wright. Highly recommend reading this book! :)
