πŸ”– REVIEW BLITZ πŸ”– Wright Kind of Trouble K.A. Linde

Wright Kind of Trouble  K.A. Linde

Release Date: February 26, 2024
Pages: 350
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

An age gap, enemy’s little sister romance set in the Wright world about Harley Wright & Chase Sinclair from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde.

He didn’t know I was ten years younger.
I didn’t know he was a Sinclair.

He didn’t care that I was a Wright.
I knew exactly what I wanted.

Yet, I know none of this when I fall into his bed.

Touching him is like finally waking after a long sleep and the thought of being without him is like driving a knife through my chest. But it's worse—he was almost engaged to my brother's wife—which makes him public enemy number one.

Our families hate each other.
No one can know what we did.
If any of my four older brothers find out, they will run him out of town.

And still…I want him.

My Review:

As the seventh book in the Wright Vineyard Series, Wright Kind of Trouble, is about a blossoming forbidden romance between two members of rival families that are ready to challenge the rivalry in order to be together. Linde’s newest duet will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!

Harley Wright’s life has been nothing if not complicated ever since finding out a twisted family secret that her dad hid from them growing up. It’s her along with her other siblings that were their dad’s dirty little secret as he hid them from his real family. So the anger and resentment towards him runs deep. Relocating to Lubbock, Texas from Seattle, Washington has made a difference in her life. Harley can finally spend some time with her extended family. The Wrights are royalty in town and she is about to attend Texas Tech University in hopes to get into a good law school. But life changes the course of her life the minute she meets Chase Sinclair. He is everything she wants, but can’t have. For he belongs to the enemy family her own family hates. Yet, there is a pull towards him that she can’t deny and no matter how much distance they put between them, she can’t help but to fall in love with him.

Chase Sinclair has everything he could ever want, he has a prominent law firm and his name is well-known in town. But his relationship with his dad and the family rivalry between the Wrights is not the best. Not when his best friend and ex-girlfriend is about to marry into that family. He has never been more hated and his presence along is not wanted in the Wright’s circles. Chase should have declined attending the wedding, but not only does it bring him closure, it also gives him a chance to meet Harley. She is different and they clicked right away. Chase knows that he should walk away from her, he can’t get his heart broken again. Yet, the longer they are together, the harder it becomes to let her go.

I throughly enjoyed reading Wright Kind of Trouble, we have two characters who are in different stages in their lives, but they have such undeniable chemistry. Harley understands Chase and he finds her refreshing to be around. They know the chaos that it would cause if their families were to find out that are together, not only is he part of the enemy family, but also ten years older than her. But just as they are ready to show off their relationship, life throws them another curveball that will test their relationship once again. I cannot wait to read what happens next in the duet, would highly recommend checking out this book as well as any other from the author. You will not regret it! :)

πŸ”– REVIEW BLITZ πŸ”– Come Here and Kiss Me M. Robinson and Willow Winters

Come Here and Kiss Me  M. Robinson and Willow Winters

Release Date: February 11, 2024
Pages: 216
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Expensive.

Powerful.

And entirely fucked up.

That sums up the pretentious - but elite - circle I grew up in. As much as I hate it, this life has its perks. If I want it, it’s mine. It’s as simple as that.

Until she showed up; she’s a tempting little vixen I’m not allowed to have.

One intense night changed it all between us, threatening to shatter everything we know.

She came up with a lie. I came up with a cover. Because the truth is…

I can’t keep my hands off her and one night would never be enough.

My Review:

From the eye-catching cover to the intriguing synopsis, Robison and Winters deliver a steamy enemies-to-lovers romance in Come Here and Kiss Me. Filled with secrets and betrayal to keep you hooked from beginning to end.

Having grown up among the wealthy elite, Ronan Wolf, is used to getting what he wants. Until he first laid eyes on Brooklyn Chambers, that his life starts to take a different turn. Not only is Ronan a professor, but Brooklyn also happens to be a student at the university he teaches. Though their relationship goes way back as their two families have had a feud with one another for many years. It only took one night together to threaten Ronan's career and for the feud to start unraveling before their eyes. But as he slowly begins to trust in Brooklyn, the harder it becomes to let her go. He has to make the tough decision in order to keep her safe no matter the cost. Brooklyn has always been attracted to Ronan, he is an enigma that keeps pulling her in. She is aware of how their relationship will be frowned upon by everyone around them and Brooklyn is ready to stand up for herself, no matter the consequences. She slowly begins to trust in the only person who has stood up for her and realizes that she could end up getting her heart broken in the end.

I really enjoyed reading Come Here and Kiss me, the characters were raw and their relationship was magnetic. It’s evident of how much they like each other from the very beginning, then they are forced to face their pasts and those around them. They don’t quite trust each other and it takes them time to slowly rely on one another. Ronan becomes protective over Brooklyn while she starts to feel free around him. There are obstacles that they need to face and they are able to overcome them in the end. All in all, the story was solid and I would recommend checking it out if you like the enemies-to-lovers trope. :)

Meet Willow Winters:

I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?

I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.

And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a reader and it motivates me to push through and keep writing. I couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful career. My Review:

Aldo, Moreland’s newest release in the Men of the Fall’s duet is a steamy and thrilling romance that will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!

As Roman Costas’s best friend and right hand, Aldo Ricci has witnessed the depths of the underworld in Niagara Falls. With Roman at the head, there are threats everywhere and Aldo has become his security, swearing to protect him no matter what. While business is booming at The Maple, a hotel and casino, their loves lives not so much. With the dangers that come with their jobs, it’s easy not to get attached. At least that’s what Aldo thought, until he met Violet Nelson.

Applying for the over-the-top casino/hotel was a gamble for Violet, especially after the recent turn of events in her life. With the hopes of starting new, she set off to Niagara Falls, not expecting for her life to completely change forever. Meeting the enigmatic Aldo takes her by surprise, he shows her a different side of him that not everyone gets to see. Not only is he is the enforcer and loyal friend to Roman, but also sweet and caring towards her. Their connection is undeniable, until a turn of events threatens their chance at a relationship.

I absolutely loved reading Aldo, the story had me hooked and very much at the edge of my seat. Aldo has officially met his match, Violet is feisty and ready to fight back. It’s evident that both of the characters have been through a lot, but they are willing to do whatever it takes to be with each other. The secondary characters made the story that much more enjoyable to read. It’s really shows how tight Aldo is with Roman and his brother, Luca. The ending was perfect for them, I cannot wait to read Roman’s story next. I would highly recommend checking out this book as well as any others by the author! :)

πŸ”– REVIEW BLITZ πŸ”– Surprised and Sacked by Gina Azzi

Surprised and Sacked by Gina Azzi

Release Date: February 5, 2024
Series: Knoxville Coyotes #2
Pages: 241
Genres: Romance, Contemporary, Sports

Knoxville Coyotes rookie, West Crawford, is a celebrated, lightning-fast football god on the field. Off the field? He’s my ex-boyfriend and greatest heartache.

I didn’t think long-distance would break us when West was drafted to Tennessee, and I was called home to Paris for a family emergency. But it did.

Fast-forward six months and West is playing in the Super Bowl, I’m rooting for him to win, and our worlds re-collide.

Celebrating West’s success is supposed to be a one-night, free-for-all that ends with closure. Instead, it births a new beginning. Literally.

I’m having a baby with my ex, our lives are still thousands of miles apart, and nothing has changed. I mean, except the obvious.

Between West’s flourishing career, my familial responsibilities abroad, and a positive pregnancy test that surprises us both, our relationship is bound to be sacked before it has the chance to soar.

My Review:

Azzi delivers a steamy sports romance in Surprised and Sacked. As second book in the Knoxville Coyotes Series, the story is about second chances and new beginnings, that will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!

At the beginning of the book, we are introduced to West Crawford, a football player who has just scored the winning touchdown at the Super Bowl. As the rookie playing for the Knoxville Coyotes, West’s life is about change, he only wishes his ex was there to celebrate a milestone in his football career. It’s been five months since he last saw Nova Martin, it was the day she left him to go back to Paris for a family emergency and long distance ended what they had. But to his surprise, Nova shows up at the game ready to celebrate him one last time before heading back to Paris for good. Yet, what started off as their last night together, truly ended up turning West’s life upside down. He has been given a second chance to make things right with Nova and he won’t stop until he convinces her to give their relationship another shot.

For Nova Jeanne Martin her life has been full of ups and downs ever since a family emergency took her back to her family in Paris. It broke her heart to leave West behind, but with his career taking off being in long distance relationship wasn’t going to work. They both deserved a chance to make great things, but Nova hasn’t stopped thinking about West since the last time she saw him five months ago. Attending the Super Bowl was a last minute decision that would ultimately chance the course of her life forever. With West rapid fame, he has women thrown at him all the time and it’s hard for Nova to see that. Yet, another reason a long distance relationship can’t work between them, but she is pregnant with his baby. It could either bring them closer or push them further apart.

I truly enjoyed reading Surprised and Sacked, the chemistry between the characters was undeniable and the story had me hooked from beginning to end. We have two career-oriented people who are about to face parenthood and they go through ups and downs in order to get their happily-ever-after. I really loved reading the relationship between Nova and her family, they all had her back no matter what and accepted West in the process as well. Though he quickly proved himself to be the man that Nova can rely on and her family sees that. West has a solid friend group that kept me entertained. All in all, the ending was sweet and prefect for their story. I would highly recommend checking out this book, I cannot wait to read the rest of the series! :)
