Question: How do you cure a book hangover/blogging slump/reading slump? - Suggested by Take Me Away...
Answer: How do I cure a book hangover?....umm that's a very good question! I don't usually have "book hangovers" and/or reading slumps, but if that's the case then I would just pick a book of one of my favorite genres. It helps to know that at least you're going to have a greater chance at liking the book, rather than picking a completely new one. As for curing blogging slumps, I would suggest not focusing on reviewing so much (if that's one of the troubles that you are having) instead focus on a blog tour, new feature, or meme. But I would gladly take any advice on how to cure a blogging slump, I tend to have a lot of those more than book hangovers. :)

Yeah I kinda lump summed my answer I think! I don't get book hangovers because I am always eager for my next read as well! And blogging slumps? Nope not really! My blog is where I get to gush about the book I just read, so I get that all out so I can be "normal" for my real life people! LOL!
Here's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT day!

I agree that participating in memes helps a lot. And at the least, they keep one's blog going. :)

Yeah, favorite books work for me, but favorite genres too. You go back to what you love to remember why you love to read. Slump over! :D Happy Friday! My FF
I agree, if you take the focus of reviewing the book away, sometimes you can gain more enjoyment from reading. New Follower:)
Me too! I have book slumps more than book hangovers!

Yep! Same here! I choose something that I enjoy. Maybe it's a sequel, or an author I'm sure to love. But that always helps.
