My Review:

The Italian's Deal for I Do was such a quick read filled with romance that is going to leave you wanting for more.

We all have pasts and things that we want to get away from, in this particular case Olivia Fitzgerald has had her fair share of demons that she wishes they would leave her alone. After a devastating ending to her modeling career, she disappeared very suddenly without telling anyone where she was going. Now she is in Milan under the care of her dear friend and designer of one of the most well-known design houses in the world. With the hopes of finally leaving everything behind, she is determined to do anything possible to make her dreams of becoming a fashion designer come true. But nothing could have prepared her for the loss she was going to experience after finding out that her friend had passed away, leaving her without his support.

Crushed and feeling hopeless, Olivia finds herself at the mercy of the irresistible Italian stranger whose looks seem to have an effect on her that she hasn't experience before. After meeting for the first time and learning a bit about him, things start to spiral out of control when after a very heated make-out session he tells her who he really is and what he wants from her. Now she has to decide whether going back to her old life is worth the risk of having her dream come true or if Rocco Mondelli's proposal is going to destroy what little of her life she has left.

Rocco Mondelli is powerful, as the CEO of the House of Mondelli, he has taken the fashion house into a whole new level after his grandfather made him CEO. But with great power comes great responsibility and the board is not happy with him being a world class womanizer. After the passing of his grandfather, Rocco learns that his grandfather only left him with fifty percent of company and not sixty as he was once told. That leaves him with not a lot of power within the company and he is willing to do just about anything to change that. When he finds out that his grandfather had gotten a very expensive apartment in Milan, he soon finds out that the supermodel in hiding has been living there for a while, and he is not too happy about it. With the intention of learning how she is connected to his grandfather, Rocco sets out to find her, but the minute he sees her the immediate attraction that he feels towards her is undeniable. Not wanting to fall for her charms, he bows to see her as a business asset to get what he wants instead of act on what he feels towards her. But the more he spends time with her, the more he starts to realize that she is not what he expected her to be, and that makes his decisions that much more difficult when he finds himself falling for her that much more.

I truly enjoyed reading the book, it was quick and the background stories of each of the main characters made the book that much more interesting. Olivia is your typical model, she has the looks that a lot of fashion houses would kill to have representing their brands, yet her life had her traveling all over the world which meant that she did not have a stable home from an early age. Having a mother who was also a model did not help her at all because she felt neglected and alone after her father left them. When she got into the modeling world, everything was fun and exciting for her, but with all the money that she got Olivia entrusted her mother with all of it and then her world came crushing down when she found out that her mother had spend it all. With the problems that she already had, she couldn't handle living in New York, so she decides to get away only to stumble against yet another obstacle, but this time she is determined to move on and destroy her demons once and for all. I found myself feeling for Olivia, she has had a rough past even though she has lived a very glamorous live style.

On the other hand, Rocco lost his parents as a very young age, that made him grow faster because he had to look after his younger sister. His father lost it after his wife (Rocco's mother) passed away, and after losing their home and drinking his life away, Rocco's grandfather took care of them from then on. His grandfather has had a great deal of influence in Rocco's life, and his passing has hurt him yet again that his judgment can get a bit cloudy as he struggles to finds himself. I absolutely loved Rocco's character, he is caring and charming. He is there for Olivia in her darkest moments and that is what made me really like their more personal scenes. The story plot flows nicely and the characters that we get introduced in the story gave the book more personality. I would say that the beginning was a bit too slow for me, I started to get into it after a couple of chapters, but the ending made everything that much better. Overall, I highly recommend reading this book if you like sexy Italian man and stories full of romance and steamy scenes. :)

My Rating: 4.5/5
