New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Probst sparks a blissful mind-body connection as her “sexy, satisfying” (Kirkus Reviews) new series continues!
She’s an expert in helping others de-stress, but Arilyn Meadows is running on fumes. Along with her job counseling singles seeking soul mates at the Kinnections agency in Verily, New York, she’s a yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and helping hand to her beloved grandfather. No time to find Mr. Right—but after discovering her yogi boyfriend in a compromising asana, Arilyn would rather dog-sit for her honeymooning friend Kate than risk her heart on another downward dog. And when police officer Stone Petty—radiating masculinity and bad-boy attitude—is sent to her for mandatory lessons in cooling off when the job gets too hot, Arilyn vows to ignore his seductive glances and sexy grin. But there’s no halting their sizzling flirtation—a red-hot, high-speed chase that’s breaking all the limits.

My Review:
Searching for Always was such an entertaining book to read, definitely one book that leave you wanting for more.
Arilyn Meadows has taken quite a lot of work, she is not only an expert at helping others de-stress, she is also a counselor, yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and also makes sure to help her grandfather as well. With lots of things do, Arilyn has to time for complications, but when she gets assigned to a couple of cops to teach them how to cool things off in the work environment, she gets assigned to officer Stone Petty. Things may not have started on the right foot for them, but they certainly grow to like each other as the two of them got to know each other.
My Review:
Searching for Always was such an entertaining book to read, definitely one book that leave you wanting for more.
For officer Stone Petty his job comes first, but it is the things that he sees on an everyday basis that are started to take a toll on him. When he took things a bit too far on one occasion, after seeing a husband beat up his wife in front of their daughter, Petty knew that he had to stop him. Unfortunately things didn't end up well for him as he got suspended from his job, and only got a promise have the job back unless he got anger management help. Needless to say, Petty wasn't happy about it, but the minute he saw Arilyn things started to change, and a challenge presented itself to him right off the bat. Now he is willing to do anything to seduce Arilyn into giving in without any strings attached.
Searching for Always had me laughing and rooting for the characters to get together from the very beginning. I love how the characters have similar yet different personalities. Arilyn is focused and caring, while officer Stone Petty has a tough look, yet he is a softy at heart. There are some background issues that the both need to fix in order to move on, but together they are able to help each other. One of the things that had me laughing was how Stone gets to take care of a sheltered puppy, and they immediately bond. He even starts taking her to work with him, which doesn't end up going well at first, but the guys at the police station soon soften and they're all over the puppy giving her treats and toys. There were some things that felt a bit rushed for me, but they somehow worked at the end. The author does a job not forcing their relationship, but instead lets it develop throughout the book. Overall I enjoyed reading the book, if you're looking for a story full of hilarious and sweet moments, then I highly recommend it. :)
Thanks for stopping by! :)
