Talk nerdy to me
Samuel Tucker is absolutely the last person scientist Cassie Barclay would ever date. Yes, he's gorgeous, but he's also far too cocky for his own good and thinks that Pi is a tasty afternoon treat. So when he asks her to dance at her friend Reese's non-wedding she's wondering why on earth she says yes!

Tuck is used to people assuming he's all brawn and no brain, and amuses himself by winding Cassie up. But when he finally takes her to bed, suddenly it's Tuck who can show Cassie a thing or two! Can he convince her that love and sex have nothing to do with logic and everything to do with chemistry?

My Review:

A new take to modern romance. In the Girl Least Likely to Marry, Cassie Barclay, a scientist whose idea of romance is the least of her concerns has been invited to her friend's wedding and ends up meeting ex-NFL quarterback Samuel Tucker. From the very beginnings Cassie was determined to stay away from Tucker, but as a ladies' man, Tucker has other ideas in mind. He is determined to win over the smarty scientist and teach her a thing or two about what she has been missing all her life. As a scientist, Cassie believes in logic and it's purpose. She is not afraid to say whatever comes to her mind and she is definitely not shy when it comes to her attraction towards Tucker. She believes that the need that she has for him is all for scientific purpose, and nothing else. But as the pair start to get close, they soon realize that the chemistry that they have for one another may not be scientific after all.

I really enjoyed reading this story, it's definitely something that I've never read before. The heroine in the book is smart and knows what she wants. She uses what she has gathered from books and knowledge to prove why things are happening to her, but she can't explain love. She doesn't want to be tied to a man, after all, her career is what she values the most. Cassie remained me of Temperance Brennan from the show Bones, they both have the same qualities and they view things the same way. Tuck is definitely someone to look out for, he is smart and he is also very likable. I found myself laughing from time to time while reading the novel. There are some pretty funny scenes that just make the book that much more interesting to read. The author did a good job developing the characters and at the end she tied everything very well. I will recommend this book to those of you that want something unique, romantic and funny to read.
