The thrilling new follow up to the new adult bestseller Me, Cinderella? by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aubrey Rose!

Happily ever after is just what they say in books. Real life is MUCH more complicated.

Brynn can't believe her good luck. Her Cinderella story continues as she finds herself studying math in a castle on the edge of a Hungarian forest. However, no fairy tale lasts forever, and a letter about her mother's death opens up a whole new world of nightmares...

Eliot, finally back in Hungary, is haunted by the lie he told ten years ago to protect his family. Now he finds that he can no longer hide his dark past from Brynn, and time is running out to finish his life's work in mathematics.

The problem that neither one of them can solve is this:

Once broken, can two shattered lives ever be made whole again?

My Review:

I enjoyed reading Broken Prince, it was a book that I was anxiously waiting to read. From the beginning to the very end, I thought Aubrey Rose did a good job describing the growth of both characters and their ups and downs as a couple. I'm still amazed at how she mixes mathematics with romance all in one.

It's evident that both Brynn and Eliot love each other, but it's their pasts that comes to haunt them just when they thought that they had the perfect ending to their fairy-tale story. The story starts off with Eliot and Brynn getting into a fight, their struggle to hold things inside them and not letting them out is hurting them more than ever. They hide what is really happening to them just so that they don't end up hurting the other. Living in a castle with Eliot was a quite the adjustment for Brynn. After what happened to her, she feels scared and confused. But as the mystery of her death mother keeps haunting her, she is determined to find out what to her if she really wants a future with Eliot.

Moving back to Hungary hasn't been easy for Eliot, after been in exile for so many years the last thing he wants is to be known for the death of his wife. He still struggles to get past that and his career as a mathematician/professor is one of the things that he relies on to keep him from breaking apart. He truly loves Brynn, but when the secret that he is hiding from everyone weights on him is almost impossible to move forward with her and their future. Now he has to figure out how to break family bonds and be with the one he loves.

Broken Prince deals with more self growth than anything else, both characters have demons that have haunt them down to break and separate them. Aubrey Rose does a good job with the entire plot, I did wished there were more scenes in some parts, but overall it was a great read. What I liked about the book is that it gives readers both characters' insights. They mystery builds up as the story progressed and the ending by far was my favorite part of the book. The author ties everything well and it's all beautifully written that I didn't want the book to end! I highly recommend everyone to read the first book, (Me, Cinderella?) and this book as well. :)
