One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what’s happened in Vegas staying there.

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.

Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

My Review:

Accidentally Married on Purpose was such a funny and sweet read! I really enjoyed reading Sherry and Tyler's story. It's my first time reading a book by Rachel Harris, and it didn't disappoint.

Sherry Robicheaux's personality is fun and adventurous. She is the “rebel” in her family, and she has done a very good job living up to that expectation. However, in her heart she wants to settle down once and for all. When she is sent to Las Vegas for work, she thinks that she is going to have one last night of fun before she starts her search for Mr. Boring, and settle down. Not knowing that her last night as a rebel is going to change her life forever.

Tyler Blue is thriving in his career as a country music superstar, but with fame comes gossip and he needs to save his public image with the public if he wants to keep his career. He sole purpose is to succeed in his career without having any attachments, in other words, he doesn't plan to settle down or change his life just to please his fans. With his agent and label pressuring him to find the right girl to marry, he finds himself drawn to the outspoken waitress while in one of his Vegas concerts. Their connection is undeniable, but when she doesn't recognize who he is, he decides to take the opportunity to spend his weekend of anonymity without thinking of the consequences. As the two wake up the next morning, they realize what they've done and the decision that they need to make.

The characters' personalities were fun to read. I loved Sherry's sense of humor, but she is in constant worry of what her family thinks of her and her future that she is willing to give up her wild days for the perfect husband. On the other hand, Tyler was just the sweetest character by far, he is caring and his life story really made him that much more likable. He really cares for Sherry and the more time they spend together, the more their relationship starts to develop.

Overall, the story was enjoyable to read. The writing flows and the characters' personalities are spot on. Reading their separate point-of-views really explained why they made the decisions that they made and it was also engaging. The ending/epilogue was my favorite part of the story, it was really sweet and romantic. I highly recommend the book, it's worth picking up.
