My Review:
As a successful zoologist, Bren Matthews has committed herself wholeheartedly to her career, and that basically leaves her without any time to date or go out anymore. When her suggests Bren to go out, she does only to find herself catching the eye of a handsome stranger who at the end of the night takes her to his home. They have a wild night together that neither of them don’t seem to want to forget, but Bren has issues with falling in love. After what happened to her parents, she has no desire to fall in love with anyone, let alone with her one-night stand. Yet, everything changes when she starts to feel different and the thought being pregnant suddenly becomes possible for her. Neither her or Mason expected to see one another in those circumstances, but when she finds out that he is her OB - GYN things start to get even more complicated than they ever imagined. One wants a relationship and the other is ready to fight against that. It’ll be up to Mason to convince Bren that he is the guy for her, but after a sudden twist of events the both will be left questioning if true love can be possible or not in the end.
While both of the characters are struggling to fix their problem, I found myself really loving Mason’s character the most. He is lovable, kind, and handsome (totally swoon worthy!). I don’t think I’ve read other books where the male protagonist truly believes in love the way he does and it was refreshing to read. His love for Bren only grows stronger the more time they spend together, and his compassion for her will definitely leave you rooting for them until the very end. On the hand, Bren is the struggling character who has been through a lot and Mason becomes her everything. He is able to help her with her fear and I loved it. The story really takes us through the struggles of this couple and how they truly become each other’s soul mates in the end. I highly recommend reading this book and other by the author, you will not be disappointed! :)
