My Review:

The Wright One is the concluding book in Sutton and David’s story. The story is about second chances at love and new beginnings.

In The Wright Love we left off with a shocking cliffhanger, that picks ups in the second book as we get to find out what happens next after Sutton finds out about David’s past. It’s evident at the very beginning that Sutton is still struggling after the death of her husband and after opening up to David, she never expected to get hurt again. Now the story focuses on Sutton making the right decision of whether she wants to give David another chance or not. Meanwhile, ever since David revealed his past to the Wrights everything has changed for him. He wants to win Sutton back and to do that he has to put his heart on the line. Without revealing too much, we get to see the characters grow in the book and they start to understand each other better. Sutton finally gets to see David’s world, but she still feels that she can’t fully move on and that’s when we get a whole rollercoaster of emotions. It was a bit frustrating seeing her going back and forth, and not being able to decide what she wanted. 

On the other hand, I really loved David and was totally rooting for him until the very end. He is such a great character and totally lovable. He had a rough past just like Sutton, but he is willing to do anything to win her back. He has a great relationship with the rest of the Wrights and it was nice seeing all of them again. There were a few issues that felt unresolved to me that could have made the book that much better. All in all, the ending was sweet and it fit their story so well. I would highly recommend reading this story and the rest of the Wright series. You will not regret it! :)

She met her own eyes in the mirror. Am I being a fool? A fool who’s about to have great sex, she thought devilishly.

“See, David? Two can play this game. Oh no, I’m not doing this to get even with David,” she shouted out loud, sure she was losing her mind, as she now talked to herself not just in her head but also out loud. The bell rang. She winked at herself, trying to believe she could be the person she was about to be. She buzzed him in. “Come on up. I’ve been waiting for you,” she said seductively.

She opened the door to find Shelly standing there. “Did I miss a meeting? What the hell, Hope?” cracked Shelly.

“What are you doing here? I’m expecting Adler. You have to leave,” said Hope, embarrassed and worried Adler would be embarrassed too and would leave.

“Oh, a little afternoon delight. OK, OK, you need this, but I want details,” Shelly said, laughing.

Buzzz. Hope pressed the button. “Uh…hello.” Shit, that wasn’t the seductive greeting I wanted.

“It’s me.” His voice melted her. “OMG, I think I just came hearing his voice,” joked Shelly.

“Get out of here, and don’t let him see you,” said Hope. She pushed her friend out the door and tried to regain her seductive voice, realizing Adler was walking down the hall.

Hope paused, took a deep breath and then opened the door.

“Hello, gorgeous,” he said so simply but in a way that made her knees wobble. Adler had such a way. “I guess great minds think alike.” He slammed the door behind him, grabbed her close, and began to kiss her passionately. He thrust his tongue into Hope’s mouth, but his breath smelled like an Altoid. He actually cared enough to eat a mint before he kissed me, thought Hope. Either that or this wasn’t his first rodeo. His hands moved from her face to her breasts and down to her butt as he pulled her toward him.
