My Review:
Sky High was a total page-turner for me, it was one of those books that I could not put down. Needless to say it was a great book filled with romance and sexy scenes between the characters that just made the book that much more enjoyable to read.
At the very beginning we meet Jamie, he has just celebrated his birthday with his friends and on that day he decides to make it his year after being promoted at his job and moving to a new apartment. In his eyes his life has just gotten better and he is not going to let anyone ruining his year. After settling in he happens to meet one of his neighbors, Sky after a morning run. Soon the two of them start to talk and a friendship blossoms between that pulls them closer the more they spend time together. But what Jamie didn't expect was to fall in love with her and not being able to do anything without affecting their friendship. Now it is his turn to make her see that they might just be perfect together.
What I liked about the book was how the author makes the main characters friends first rather than quickly moving on into a relationship. The whole idea of dating and having Jamie assess whoever Sky is with was fun to read, especially since that got Jamie jealous and made him a bit overprotective towards her. There is truly a connection between the two that is hard to resist and their chemistry grows throughout the story as well. Although the story flows nicely, the ending could have been better with another chapter or two to fully bring the story to and end. Other than that I highly recommend reading this book, I will certainly be reading the last two previous books in the series. :)
