My Review:

Kendall Ryan has done it again! From the synopsis to the swoon worthy cover, Ryan has has delivered a sexy and romantic story that will leave you wanting for more. 

For Evie Reed, being a twenty-two year old college graduate means a new step in her life. After traveling Europe with her best friend, she has set on to do what she has always wanted to do and that is to seduce her brother's best friend, Smith Hamilton. Evie knows that Smith is off-limits to her being that not only is he a bit older than her, but also consider family to her brother, Cullen. It is then that she makes a plan to make Smith see her as a full grown woman and not a little sister. With her new job managing social media for her family's lingerie company, she knows that she'll be spending more time with Smith, yet little did she know that her plans would back fire on her after meeting her brother and Smith in Paris. Now back in Chicago, just when Evie is ready to move on from her “Seduce Smith Plan,” Smith surprises her with a plan of his own, one that would change their lives forever.

Smith Hamilton has it all, he has the looks and money that attracts women like never before. He is incredibly charming and a hard worker who values his career and friendships. Even though he has a successful job, he doesn't quite have a love life. Needless to say, he has always had a crush on Evie Reed, his best friend's little sister and that has put her completely off limits to him. He knows that he has to stay away from her, but after her attempt to seduce him Paris doesn't go well, he is ready to finally make a move on her no matter what his friend says. Once they start to spend more time together, they soon find themselves completely attracted to each other and it is then that they'll have to decide if taking the next step in their relationship is worth it or not.

From the very beginning it's evident that Evie and Smith have instant chemistry, they've known each other for a while now and it isn't hard for them to deny that their attraction is growing every day. I enjoyed reading their background stories and the characters themselves felt relatable. Smith was awesome, he is charming and sweet towards Evie (even when they first met). It is their sweet and steamy scenes that had me reading until the very end. Ryan's writing style keeps pulling me in, and I loved reading The Play Mate. The ending was incredibly sweet and it worked really well in the story. I would highly recommend reading this book and any other book by Kendall Ryan, you will not be disappointed. :)
