She brings with her spontaneity and light. The world she lives in is so different from his, yet he cannot control the draw to her. Nor can he explain the way she makes him feel.

My Review:
For Emmy being able to do something for herself has always been her first priority. She has been through so much growing up and now that she is taking college classes, she feels that she is one step closer to making a name for herself. Working at the coffee shop is not going to last forever, but she loves it. It’s on a day that she is studying that she bumps into an incredibly good looking stranger who happens to be a rich CEO. Their conversation is full of laughter and that soon turns into flirting. When they are ready to go their separate ways, Bentley ends up asking her out, and soon that turns into a rollercoaster romance. But there are things that they’re both hiding really deeply that could end up hurting them and their relationship.
Melanie Moreland has done a great job describing the two characters and their pasts. It was a sweet and steamy romance that will definitely keep you reading until the very end. Bentley was such a sweet and protective character that intrigued me from the very start. Emmy is such a strong character full of courage. I loved her personal story, it just made the book ten times better. She is the completely opposite of Bentley, but she complements him really well. There were things that I would have changed towards the end, but it was nicely ended and I would highly recommend reading this story!

AUTHOR INFORMATION:
New York Times/USA Today bestselling author Melanie Moreland, lives a happy and content life in a quiet area of Ontario with her beloved husband of twenty-seven-plus years and their rescue cat Amber. Nothing means more to her than her friends and family, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.
While seriously addicted to coffee, and highly challenged with all things computer-related and technical, she relishes baking, cooking, and trying new recipes for people to sample. She loves to throw dinner parties, and also enjoys travelling, here and abroad, but finds coming home is always the best part of any trip.
Melanie loves stories, especially paired with a good wine, and enjoys skydiving (free falling over a fleck of dust) extreme snowboarding (falling down stairs) and piloting her own helicopter (tripping over her own feet.) She's learned happily ever afters, even bumpy ones, are all in how you tell the story.
