Unforgettable by Michelle Heard and Tayla Louise

Release Date: September 18, 2023
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

From USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author Michelle Heard and debut author Tayla Louise comes a new STANDALONE, full-length CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE novel.

Life has taught me I’m forgettable, unless someone needs something from me. While things are going great, people forget I exist, but the second hell breaks loose, my number is the one they call.

It sucks.

Just once, I’d like to be a priority in someone’s life. I’d like to be taken into consideration. I want my voice to be heard.
But that’s never going to happen.
I’m the forgettable one. Always have been. Always will be.

Wanting to feel like I’m a priority for one night, I take matters into my own hands and book a date through The Perfect Gentleman’s service. I figure if I’m going to pay for the date, the guy will be forced to give me the attention I’ve always craved.
I’m not going to lie, I almost cancel the date a hundred times, but gathering my courage, I head to the restaurant to meet Mr. Perfect.
Mr. Perfect turns out to be PERFECT in the looks department. His blue eyes are seductive and playful, luring me in like a moth to a flame, and the dominance radiating from him actually makes me feel safe.

Little do I know my entire life is about to be turned upside down.

WARNING: 18+ only. Please read responsibly. THIS NOVEL CONTAINS TRIGGERING CONTENT.

My Review:

Heard and Louise deliver a relatable and gripping romance in Unforgettable. It will pull at your heartstrings and never let go. A must-read!

For twenty-five-year old, Lillian Harrison, having grown up in the world of privilege didn’t always make her life easy. After all, when her family is all about law and she is the one all about art, it can make things difficult when it comes to how they interact with each other. All her life Lillian has felt invisible and forgettable from everyone around her, including her family and friends. For once in her life she wants to be seen and heard, so when she overhears about The Perfect Gentleman, she wants to give it a try. Hire someone to be the perfect gentleman with her and to be the perfect date for her friend’s birthday party. What soon starts as a paid date, it becomes to much more when she gets to know Callan Wright more. He is everything she’s ever wanted, but Lillian is afraid that her feelings for him are not mutual. It’s up to her to end things before it’s too late.

As CEO of The Perfect Gentleman, thirty-two-year old Callan Wright, has managed to achieve tremendous success and wealth at a young age. His status has made him one the most eligible bachelors of Billionaire’s Row, which often comes with the wrong attention. While some people might want him for his wealth, others judge him for being part of world of “new money.” But Callan doesn’t care about what others think of him, only those he is closest to the most. Which would have included a very special person in his life, but that person was taken away too soon and Callan has been dealing with the loss ever since.

That is until he bumps into a beautiful stranger at a coffee shop that his life starts to take a different turn. It’s fait when they are brought together again, this time through his own company. Escorting Lillian Harrison to a birthday party should have been an easy job, but when they get dinner to start to get to know each other, Callan can sense an undeniable attraction between them. There is something about Lillian that keeps pulling them together and he will not stop until he can convince her that they are meant to be together.

I throughly enjoyed reading Unforgettable, the story truly sucks you in from beginning to end. There are trigger warnings for a reason, so be mindful when reading the beginning of the story. I found myself completely connecting with both of the characters so the story felt a lot more emotional for me. We have two characters who have suffered in different ways, but at the end they are able to lean on each other as they go through a series of obstacles together. There is a lot of growth coming from Lillian and we get to see her truly start controlling her own life/future. Their chemistry is magnetic and be ready for those steamy scenes as well! I absolutely loved the ending and I cannot recommend it enough. I can’t wait to read more from the authors in the future! :)
