My Review:
Getting Dirty with the CEO is a story about second chances at love and at new beginnings...
Not having read any other works by Mia Sosa before, I was really impressed with her latest book, and the cover completely drew me in. At the beginning of the story we are introduced to Mimi Pennington, a publicist whose career could be taken to the next level if she lands a prestigious account, according to her boss. When she is told to land the prestigious account of non other than the man that left hanging before they had sex, Mimi doesn't know what to do. She wants the job more than anything, but after what happened at their friend's wedding has left her confused, and does not know what to make of what they had. When Daniel Vargas finds out that Mimi is going to work for him, he wants to continue what they were about to do at their friend's wedding. He still wants her after they way they left things that day, but after Mimi tells him about her rules, especially the one where she is not going to sleep with her boss, things start to change. It becomes a challenge for Daniel, one that he intends to win even if it means going after his own friends.
Although the story is not unique, the author did a good job with the fluidity of the story, and character development. Mimi is one of those characters that has put walls around her in order to not get hurt, and it is because of that, that she is about make the biggest mistake of her life if she doesn't let go. On the other hand, Daniel is your perfect hero in the story, he knows what he wants and will not stop at nothing until he gets Mimi to see that they belong together. As they characters spend more time together, the more they start to realize that they might just be perfect for one another. Overall, if you're looking for a cute and quick romantic read, then I would highly suggest reading this book. It's worth picking up. :)

My Rating:
Mia Sosa is an award-winning writer and 2015 Romance Writers of America® Golden Heart® Finalist. She writes contemporary romances that are funny, flirty, and a little dirty. Ahem.
Although she once dreamed of being a professional singer, the pesky need to generate steady income led Mia to take the law school admissions test instead. She practiced First Amendment and media law in the nation’s capital for ten years before returning to her creative roots. Now she spends most of her days writing love stories about smart women and the complicated men who love them. Okay, let's be real here: she wears PJs all day and watches more reality television than a network television censor—all in the name of research, of course.
