🔖 REVIEW BLITZ 🔖 Penthouse Prince by Kendall Ryan

Penthouse Prince by Kendall Ryan

Release Date: September 1st 2020
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

A delicious new single dad standalone romance from New York Times bestseller Kendall Ryan!

Lexington Dane was my brother’s best friend growing up.

We did everything together.

He taught me how to throw a punch, how to change a tire…and he taught me how to kiss. I fell hard and fast, and gave him all my firsts.

I promised I’d wait for him…

But I’m done waiting, because he went off to college and never came back. He took his fancy business degree and moved to New York City, where he promptly became a real estate mogul—turning every penthouse and apartment project he touched into gold.

It’s been ten years, and now he’s back and needs a favor…someone to watch his little girl. That’s right, the cocky penthouse prince and heartbreaker extraordinaire Lexington is back with an adorable two-year-old daughter. Guess who he wants to watch her?

I’ve never been able to say no to him. I might agree to be the nanny for his precious little angel, but there’s no way in hell I’m falling for her hot-as-sin daddy.

My Review:

Penthouse Prince is a lighthearted second chance romance that will leave you swooning and rooting for the characters until the very end.

At the beginning of the story we get to meet Lexington Dane, a wealthy real estate mogul who has worked really hard to make a name for himself in New York. With big plans in mind, his plans suddenly change the minute he becomes a single father. Now he has to juggle his hectic career while being away from his family and taking care of his little girl. It would take unexpected news to bring him back to North Carolina, back to his old life and the woman he left behind. It’s been ten years since he’s seen Corrigan Stewart and so much has changed. She is no longer the girl he met in high school and after leaving in such a bad terms he is set on getting her back.

Corrigan Stewart has done very well for herself, she is a teacher and loves her job. It is summer vacation and she is ready to relax until she finds out that her ex, Lexington Dane is back in town and he wants to talk to her. With so much history between them, she decides to meet with him only to discover that he is a single dad and he needs her help. To watch his daughter as she is the only one he trusts, but the more time they spend together the more she realizes that she still has feelings for him. But their lives have changed, there is so much to consider in order for them to have a future together before it’s too late.

I enjoyed reading Penthouse Prince, it was romantic and charming. I loved the interaction between the characters and the one that they have with Lex’s daughter. It’s evident from the start that they both have to work on moving on from their pasts, but it was great seeing them relay on each other. There isn’t a huge conflict in the story, which made the story that much quick to read. It was adorable and the ending really ties everything together really well. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this book and any others by the author. :D
