Once upon a time, there was a princess locked in a tower, guarded by an obnoxiously attractive dragon with a superiority complex.
Her crime, you may ask?
A single, topless, crowd-surfing incident. Which was photographed, published by multiple news outlets, and “jeopardized” her father’s high profile election campaign.
Faced with the threat of being cut off—and forced to rely on her non-existent life skills—the princess had little choice but to accept her punishment: house arrest at the family estate for the duration of the campaign.
A campaign which will last eight. Freaking. Months.
As if all this wasn’t terrible enough, the princess’s only company—the dragon—was even more unpleasant than the punishment itself. He hated her at first sight; most likely for the crime of being pretty, and rich, and way better than him at literally everything.
Mean, condescending, and a total turd, the dragon seemed to want nothing more than to assert his authority over the princess. She believed—quite rightly—that being insanely hot doesn’t give you the right to treat people that way.
It wasn’t long before the princess decided her only recourse… was war.

My Review:
A call to the family’s ancestral home of Thornhurst, ends up deceiving her into staying there for the next eight months until the election is over or risk losing her trust fund. With no other choice, Blair gives in only to find out that her dad has hired a someone to guard her while in the estate. A very good looking and infuriating guard who seems to hate her right away. There are a lot of things that the press gets wrong about Blair and she vows to make Damien see that she is different. Yet, no one warm her that by spending a lot of time with Damien, that her heart would be on the line.
I really enjoyed reading Revelation, this enemies-to-lovers romance had me hooked from the very beginning. Just when her dad thought that it would be a good idea for Blair to be out of the spotlight, another type of trouble ends up finding her at her family’s estate. Only, meeting Damien for the first time leaves her with the impression that he doesn’t like her. He is strict, demanding and ready to put her in her place. The problem is that there is something about Damien that keeps drawing Blair closer. Though no matter how much he tells her about himself, she can sense that he is not telling her everything. Something that she needs to figure out before it’s too late. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this book! The first book in the series became of my favorites and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! :)
