πŸ”– REVIEW πŸ”– The Two Week Arrangement by Kendall Ryan

The Two Week Arrangement by Kendall Ryan

Release Date: June 4th 2019 by Kendall Ryan
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Dear Sexy AF Intern,

I know you don't particularly care that I'm the CEO of this company, and you're just an intern. I also know you're not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that's fine.

You think you've got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don't know me. Not really.

You don't know that I'm a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.

I'm not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we're in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I'm figuring out which I want more--to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.

While you're too disciplined to act on it, I'm not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

My Review:

There is no surprise that I am a sucker for a great romance and Kendall Ryan always delivers such great stories that will will hook you in until the very end. The Two Week Arrangement is the first book in the Penthouse Affair series, one that you will not want to miss.

In this story we get to meet Presley Harper, a 22-year old Brown graduate who hopes to win the job of her dreams by working alongside billionaire Dominic Aspen in order to land an executive position at the most prestigious hotel chain in the world. She has worked really hard to be in the position that she is in, but even though the internship position in unpaid she is willing to give it her all especially when she truly needs the job. Ever since her father disowned her younger brother she has been stuck helping him pay his college bills, but money is getting tighter and she needs to prove that she can be the best in order to help her brother financially. But everything changes when she gets paired to work with the CEO himself and the chemistry between them is instant right away. She is attracted to him when she shouldn’t and his proposition soon makes things worse as she gets to know the guy behind the billion-dollar empire. Presley wasn’t supposed to fall in love, but she knew their arrangement was temporary and getting her heart hurt was meant to happen after all.

Dominic Aspen has it all. At least that’s what everyone sees on the outside. He is the perfect 26-year old billionaire with his whole life ahead of him full of money and woman around him. What the public doesn’t know is that he is the father of two little girls who he can’t wait to see every time he gets home and this makes him extremely protective over them. His private life is private for a reason and he likes it that way. He has been through so much already, especially when it comes to relationships and that is why he is not interested in being in one. His focus right now is to finish the internship program and win over an investor for his company. But that soon changes when he sees Presley for the first time. She is everything he wants, but can’t have. Until she needs her that all bets are off. Now he has to figure out a way to make her his forever before it’s too late.

I loved reading this story, it had a lot of sweet and adorable moments between Dominic and his daughters as well as steamy scenes between him and Presley. It’s evident that they both have pasts to overcome and there are a lot of ups and downs in the horizon. I loved Dominic, he is charming and sweet. Presley is such a great sister and brilliant worker. She truly wants to make things work so she can officially work for Aspen Hotels. But as the two start to spend more time together, the closer they get and feelings start to grow until something happens the changes the course of events. I wish the author could have introduced the catalyst of what brings them apart earlier in the story and developed it further towards the end. It felt abrupt to me, but it somehow worked at the very end. The story does end in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to read what happens next. I would highly recommend checking out the story and any others by the author, you won’t regret it! :)
