One corner of her mouth quirked upward as she turned away from him, meandering her way further into the room. “I thought I’d stop by to say hello. Though truth be told, I also came in here because I wanted to fulfill a fantasy, and I hoped you wouldn’t mind.”

He hadn’t stopped thinking about the offer she’d made him this morning or wondering why the hell he wasn’t taking her up on it. Couldn’t stop thinking, either, about the fact she’d stood naked in front of him while she did it. And she had to go and tease him about fantasies?

He snatched up his book and attempted to scan the page. He wanted to pretend nonchalance, but his hands shook. His cock throbbed, and he couldn’t force his gaze to focus on the words. He shouldn’t ask the question seated on the tip of his tongue, but damn it, he had to know. “Fantasy?”

“Mm-hmm.” She started up the stairs, making her way to the library’s second floor, a sexy swing in her hips. When she reached the top, she turned, settling her hands along the railing, and peered down at him. “You gave me an idea last week.”

It took all of two seconds to understand what she wanted. He swallowed a miserable groan. Was it possible to die from sexual frustration? From being so hard it hurt?

He sighed. He’d have to face this, or she’d keep teasing him. “Jenna…”

Whatever bravado she’d marched in there with seemed to desert her, for she dropped her gaze, her fingers toying with the edge of the railing. “It’s something I’ve never had the courage to try, because I’ve never felt comfortable enough with someone to do it. It doesn’t require your participation. Only your presence.”

“You want me to watch.”

She looked up, her fingers tightening around the railing. “Yes.”

He ought to turn her down, get up and find another room to read in, but he didn’t have the heart to say the words. She’d essentially told him that despite what he’d done to her last weekend, she felt comfortable with him. And hell. He understood only too well the desire to play out a fantasy like hers, the ones that made you this side of uncomfortable. Who was he to tell her no?
