🌟RELEASE BLAST!🌟 Pleasing Her Prince by Kylie King {REVIEW}

Pleasing Her Prince by Kylie King

Release Date: August 8 2019
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

A standalone enemies-to-lovers royal romance!

Ryker Hale is a freaking jerk.

He became the prince of my country overnight and I have resented him for years ever since. Everyone admires him and treats him like a god, and yet all I can remember when I see him are all those times he made fun of and teased me in high school.

It’s just my luck that the prince has a job opening for a dog-sitter position right around the time I lose my job. I need money soon and with nothing to lose, of course I apply, despite how slim my chances are or how much I loathe the idea of working for him.

The last thing I expect is to get hired, though. I also don't expect for Prince Ryker to remember me at all, yet he does.

And now that he remembers, he wants me all to himself.

A part of me wants to punch him right in the face for how he treated me, but I’m starting to realize he’s a changed man, and with each passing day I spend in his palace, I feel myself falling for him more and more.

I'm clearly out of my mind.

My Review:

Not having read any other works by Kylie King before, I didn’t know what to expect before reading Pleasing Her Prince. Needless to say, I was impressed with the story from beginning to end. This standalone enemies-to-lovers royal romance is going to leave you wanting for more.

At the beginning of the story we get to meet Sophia Valetti, a twenty-six year old who has recently lost her job after her boss gets pinned for tax fraud. This left many without a job and Sophia doesn’t know what to do. When her roommate tells her about a new job opening that the prince has posted, Sophia doesn’t know if it’s a good idea for her to apply. She knows the prince since they were in middle school and he used to teased her nonstop growing up. But it’s her only choice at this point and decides to apply, only to get a quick response wanting her to come to a face-to-face interview. She takes the opportunity hoping to get the money that she needs, but when the prince himself makes a surprise appearance to the interview things start to change. They have not seen each other in a very long time and she still remembers what they once had and how it all ended. Wanting nothing more than to forget their past, she is determined to be professional, little did she know that he had other plans for her. Ones that might get her to stay with him forever.

I very much enjoyed reading this story, it was short and sweet. The story really is about them meeting once again and working out what truly happened all those years ago when they went their separate ways. I liked the relationship that Ryker (the prince) has with his two dogs and how caring he is towards Sophia. He makes her feel welcome and not teased her like he did when they were growing up. On the other hand, Sophia knows what she wants and it’s not afraid to speak her mind when it comes to Ryker. Although the story it’s short, we can still see that the characters still have chemistry even years after not seeing each other. But when the truth it’s revealed, they’ll have to make a choice if they want to be together or not. The only downside about the story is that it’s not long enough, but it’s still packs a punch at the end with the epilogue. All in all, if you are looking for a short romance with a royal twist than I would highly recommend checking out this book. I cannot wait to read more from the author in the future. :)

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**
My Rating:

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Kylie King is a soccer mom by day, and a writer of ridiculously smutty romances by night. She loves reading, swimming, and mixed drinks that include lots of rum.

All of her books are quick and hot, with over-the-top fantasies that probably shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Thanks for stopping by! :)
