🔖 REVIEW BLITZ 🔖 Just One More Date by Carly Phillips

Just One More Date by Carly Phillips

Release Date: November 17, 2025
Pages: 98
Genres: Romance, Contemporary, Holiday

Leo Watson needs a pretend wife for a business Christmas party.

Could the cute barista who serves his favorite coffee drink play the part?

Camille Hendricks is willing… for a price—an interview at his sister’s PR company.

The game seems easy but their attraction is all too real.

When sexy lines are crossed, both Leo and Cammie stand to lose something more important than business.

They risk losing each other.

My Review:

In Phillips’ latest release, we get a holiday novella in Just One More Date. This steamy holiday romance packs punch and will leave you swooning and rooting for the characters until the very end!

Leo Watson might have the looks and money to attract the opposite sex, but not even that will help him find a fake girlfriend at the last minute to take to his company Christmas party. All to impress a future client that will not sign with the firm if he doesn’t think that Leo can commit at all. So in an effort to gain his trust, Leo will do anything including getting a fake girlfriend in order to sell that he can be in a serious relationship. Not expecting for his all the woman in his life to be busy this Christmas. Leo turns to an unexpected choice, the cute barista who is always cheery and happy to see him every time he goes to the coffee shop. Without realizing that Camille Hendrick was going to completely change his life forever.

While working at Forth and Grind, Camille Hendricks has seen her fair share of businessmen coming for their coffee after work. But non of them could hold a candle to Leo. They have never shared a conversation, but she has quickly developed a crush on him. So when he asks to talk to her at the coffee shop one day, Camille assumes that he is going to ask her out. But that’s not what she gets, instead he offers her a job, crushing her dreams in the process. It’s when she finds out that he happens to be related to the woman she’s been wanting to see for moths, Camille accepts the offer. In exchange Leo promises to get her an interview with his sister’s PR company. Yet, not matter how much she tries to protect her heart, Camille starts to fall for the man she can’t have. She’ll have to decide if putting her heart at risk is worth it or if it’s time to walk away.

I absolutely loved reading Just One More Date, the characters were relatable and their instant chemistry was sizzling! Leo quickly becomes protective of Camille, even though he doesn’t want to be in a serious relationship. Her joy for the holidays is what he doesn’t quite understand at the beginning, but the more time they spent together, the more it became clear that they might be just meant for each other. All in all, this was such a great holiday novella that I would highly recommend checking out this Christmas, you will not regret it! :)

Morally Black Betrothal by Nicole French

Release Date: November 14, 2025
Pages: 565
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

HE DOESN'T NEED A WIFE. HE NEEDS A WEAPON.
UNFORTUNATELY, HIS SWEET FAKE FIANCEE IS ABOUT TO BECOME HIS WEAKNESS.

Brendan

They call me the Black Prince.
Heir to Blackguard Equity. First in line for the CEO crown. Ruthless, precise, untouchable—until my father decides to move the goalpost.
No wife, no CEO seat.

So I find the one woman who can play the part.
Simone Bishop. The sweet, small-town candy striper who sat by my father’s bedside when no one else could stand him. She’s sunshine wrapped in an apron, with flour on her hands and eyes too innocent to belong anywhere near me.
But she needs my money. I need her hand.
Four months. One shared address. Zero feelings.

Simple. Until I start wanting to mess up that perfect hair in my bed every night. Until I start wanting to keep her.

Simone

I should’ve said no.
Brendan Black is everything I’ve been taught to avoid—grumpy, bossy, and so intense it feels like my heart’s on a leash when he looks at me. But the family farm is days from foreclosure, and his offer is too good to be pretend to be his fiancée, live in his penthouse for four months, and walk away with enough money to save the farm twice over.

I can handle this. I can survive the way his eyes linger. The way he says my name like it’s a command. The way my pulse stutters every time we’re in the same room.

It’s all fake… until it isn’t.

Because somewhere between the first kiss in public and the first kiss in private, I stopped pretending.

And if I’m not careful, the Black Prince is going to ruin me—in the best and worst ways.

MORALLY BLACK BETROTHAL is the first standalone novel in the Morally Black Billionaires series.
May cause uncontrollable sighing, blushing, and an inability to think about anyone but Brendan Black for days. Proceed with swoon-caution.

My Review:

French delivers a swoon worthy and addictive romance in the first book of the Morally Black Billionaires Series. Morally Black Betrothal is a must-read!

At the beginning of the story we are introduced to Simone Bishop, a twenty-eight year old bartender, baker and candy striper who has moved from her small town of Vermont to Boston. With hopes of opening her own bakery one day, Simone works hard to save enough money to be able to save the family farm. To make things even more stressful, her twin sister needs her now more than ever. Leaving Simone with no choice but to help her sister out. It’s with the help of a ruthless billionaire that her life is about to change forever the minute she agrees to be his fake fiancee. No matter how different their worlds might be, it’s what they have in common that ultimately brings them closer. Until what they have gets threatened do they have to decide if being together is worth it or walking away all-together.

As the eldest son of the most cut-throat venture capitalist in New England, Brendan Black has always known his place in their world. That one day, he would take over the family business and make it profitable for many generations to come. But being called The Black Prince has it’s drawbacks, especially after meeting a lovely mysterious woman watching over his dad. He should have been the powerful lion Brendan was raised to be, but instead he is the complete opposite when it comes to Simone Bishop. There is something about her that keeps bringing him to her, an effect that he uses in order to convince her to pretend to be his fake fiancee in order to get the role as CEO of Blackguard Equity. Neither expected for sparks to fly between them and the attraction so powerful that it would blurt the edges of their relationship, forcing them to figure out a way to be together for real.

I absolutely loved reading Morally Black Betrothal, French has a way of absolutely captivating me every time she releases a book. Her stories are always so thought-out and hard to put down. In her latest release, we get to meet Simone and Brendan, two complete opposites that attract the minute they see each other for the first time. While Brendan has a lot of weight on his shoulders trying to look out for his family and the upcoming role as CEO. He is not interested in having a romantic relationship and that makes the board question his ability to commit. So when he is presented with an ultimatum, Brendan finds himself turning to Simone for help. Everyone has a price to him and he just needs to figure out a way to get her to agree to be his fake fiancee. But things are not always what they seem to be and as the two go through ups and downs, they have to rely on each other in order to find their happily ever after. All in all, this was such a great start to the series. I cannot wait to read the rest, I would highly recommend checking out this book as well. :)

🔖 RELEASE BLITZ 🔖 Princess of Pride by Tara Gallina {REVIEW}

Princess of Pride by Tara Gallina

Release Date: November 6, 2025
Series: Cruel Legacies Book 2
Pages: 426
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

He’s the beast I can’t escape. I’m the prisoner he’s determined to claim.

Emery

Six-two, sinfully gorgeous, with noble lineage, and a cliffside castle. What's not to like?

Exactly the problem, until I convince myself the cold, unreadable man my father insists I marry is gay.

That’s why I agree to the business merger. I swore I’d never marry for love. I’ve seen how it ruins women in arranged marriages. My mother included.

Lachlan might look like a sexy villain ripped from a romance novel, but I’m safe from falling for him. He’s not even into me. I can open my dream bookstore, live on my terms, and play wife only when necessary.

Until our wedding day when he kisses me like he owns me—stealing my breath and my sanity. Now the chemistry between us is undeniable, but I refuse to fall for his seductive, controlling ways.

Lachlan

Emery has no idea what I’m really after.

Two goals brought me to the altar. Both personal. Both inevitable.
Take her father’s company to end a centuries-old feud.
Claim the golden princess with the tempting mouth and defiant pride.

She thinks she can keep her distance. She has no idea what she signed up for, or how far I’ll go to claim what's mine.

My Review:

Not having read any other books by Gallina before, I didn’t know what to expect before reading Princess of Pride. Needless to say, I was impressed with the overall story. As the second book in the Cruel Legacies Series, this dark romance will leave you wanting for more.

For Emery Spencer, having grown up among the wealthy and powerful has certain expectations that she must follow. After all, the Spencer name carries a lot of weight in Connecticut. Her dad’s Fortune 500 company, Spencer Security is on the line as he will only pass it down to the family. Meaning that setting up his daughters with arrange marriages is all to keep their fortune in the family. Emery has always known about her impending future, but when she finds out that she is going to marry Lachlan Ashford, a part of her is confused. No matter how good looking he is, he doesn’t seem interested in her at all. Yet, that could be a benefit of their arrangement that Emery won’t pass. As long as Lachlan keeps his part of the deal their marriage might actually work. Little does she know that he has plans of his own and that includes claiming her as his for good.

I throughly enjoyed reading Princess of Pride, the instant chemistry between the characters was electric. There is no denying that Emery is attracted to Lachlan, he is compared to a young James Fraser from Outlander, which is by far one of my personal favorite tv shows. Between the swoon worthy moments to their banter, we also get family drama that takes things to a whole new level. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this book. I cannot wait to read more from the author in the future! :)

Have I killed for her?
'Yes.'
Stalker?

I've worked the night shift at the local gas station for years, and nothing exciting ever happens. That is, until a tall dark stranger comes in to buy a coffee. I thought he was just passing through town, but then he starts coming in every night.

Whenever our eyes meet, I try to muster the courage to say something to him, but I never can and only end up blushing my butt off.
I begin to daydream about the man who has an air of mystery and danger, and it lessens the loneliness I feel.
The night I finally manage to say 'hi' to him, the gas station is robbed, and my tall dark stranger saves my life before disappearing.
A few days later, I'm offered a job as a housekeeper for a wealthy recluse. It pays more money than I've ever hoped to make in my lifetime, so I accept.
I miss my handsome stranger, though.

That is, until I hear a commotion one night and find him bleeding in the kitchen.
It turns out everything is not as it seems, and like a helpless fly, I'm stuck in the web he's spun around me.

STANDALONE: A Mafia Romance full-length novel.
Each book in the Mafia Empire series is interconnected, but about a different couple who will all find their HEA.

My Review:

Heard has done it again! From the synopsis to the swoon worthy cover, she delivers a sizzling mafia romance in The Devil. As the fifth book in the Mafia Empire Series, this story will leave you rooting for the characters until the very end!

Growing up on the streets has taught Enzo Oliveira to never trust anyone. He has learned the hard way how deceiving people can be while constantly fighting for the bare necessities. Now Enzo is in a constant battle to protect the empire he built with blood and pain. So when he is informed that one of his newest contraband factories is in trouble, Enzo decides to leave Portugal to fly to the U.S. in order to handle the problem. Little does he know just how much his life is about to change forever. For Jenna Dotson, living in the small town of Aurora has its benefits when you want to hide from the world. But that wasn’t always the case, she once dreamed about becoming a badass business woman in New York or travel the world with her future family. Yet, that dream came to an end the day she lost the ability to trust in people.

Her world turned upside down and with her dreams crushed, Jenna had no choice but to start working at the local gas station. Her routine is always the same, until one day a mysterious good looking stranger starts to come in every night. Always trying to be respectful and nothing else, Jenna slowly begins to daydream about the man that exudes wealth and power. Wondering what he could possibly be doing in her small town. Then a turn of events forces her to rethink her future at the gas station after she is offered a job as a housekeeper for a wealthy recluse. Not realizing that she was about to walk into a whole new world full of danger and it’s leader, Enzo Oliveira aka her mysterious stranger.

I absolutely loved reading The Devil, it’s evident from the beginning that both of the characters have suffered immensely. Their ability to trust was damaged at a very young age and that ultimately is what brings them together. They are able to lean on each other and as Enzo starts to learn more about Jenna, the possessive side of him grows. He knows early on that Jenna was meant to be his and his job is to do everything in his power to protect her at at any cost. The plot twist that we get was unexpected! I loved seeing the rest of the alliance in the book, everyone truly comes together as a family to protect one another. Something that Enzo is not used to, but slowly accepts. I loved the ending, getting to see that Jenna truly got what she’s always dreamed about. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this story as well as the rest of the series. You will not regret it! ;)

Author's If you love explosive chemistry, fiery banter, and a grumpy firefighter who always saves the girl, My Favorite Hero delivers all the heat and heart you crave–grab it now before Jesse Thorne steals someone else's.

My Review:

Moreland delivers a wholesome romance between a firefighter and an IT specialist in My Favorite Hero. As the third book in the My Favorite Hero Series, this second chance romance will pull at your heartstrings and never let go.

Everything chances the minute Jesse Thorne receives a call to the firefighter station that changes the course of his life forever. With his unwanted tenant on its way to Covington, Jesse is shocked to see a very good looking woman hanging from his window trying to get into his house. He wasn’t expecting for a woman to be his surprise roommate, after all the previous owner made it clear to him that she would only sell the house if he rented the other half to a KC, not a Casey. Jesse is used to being a loner, liking his own company rather than being surrounded by people. So when Casey starts to change things to her side of the house and not follow his rules, it brings out the grumpy side of him to its fullest. It doesn’t help that she is incredibly smart and beautiful. She is a strong independent woman ready to break down every wall around his heart too. Neither of them wants to be in a relationship, they’ve been hurt in the past, but once they cross the line of no return they are able to see just how perfect they can be together.

I absolutely loved reading the banter and the steamy scenes between the characters had me rooting for them until the very end. They are just too funny together, Casey clearly knows what she is doing when she tries to push Jesse’s buttons. He tries to put his foot down, but Casey seems to be the only one to know how to melt his heart. It’s evident that their pasts are a huge part of the reason why they’ve chosen to not be in a relationship. So when their pasts come back to hunt them, they are able to lean on each other and understand what the other one is going through. They’ve been given a second chance, they just have to learn to accept their growing feelings for one another. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this book and any other by the author. You will not regret it and the epilogue will leave you wanting for more!

🔖 BLOG TOUR 🔖 Beautiful Torment by A. Zavarelli {REVIEW}

Beautiful Torment by A. Zavarelli

Release Date: September 26, 2025
Pages: 483
Genres: Dark Romance, Mafia

They call him Il Diavolo
When the devil dressed in black crashes my wedding
I know he didn’t come to offer me his blessing
He came to collect what was always his
For months, he’s watched me from the shadows
Haunting me
Biding his time
Planning his revenge
Before he was King of the Cosa Nostra
I was fated to be his queen
I promised him forever
Now, he’s here to remind me what forever really means.

Beautiful Torment is a dark mafia romance with a complete ending.

My Review:

Not having read any other books by the author before, I didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say, I was impressed with overall story. Zavarelli is able to deliver a steamy dark romance in Beautiful Torment. What starts off as a decades-old feud ends up changing the lives of Abella Moretti and Angelo Vitale forever.

For someone that has grown up within the Costa Nostra, there is no surprise when Abella is informed of her upcoming arranged marriage. As the daughter of one of the most powerful man in the mafia, Abella knows what her responsibilities are as a woman in their world. A woman’s value always comes down to what she could be traded for and the treaty between their families runs deep. What makes the arrangement easier to take on is the fact that she knows her soon-to-be fiancé really well. Having grown up with Angelo, Abella knew that someday she would take her rightful place as his wife. What neither of them expected was for life to take a turn of events that would end up separating them for six long years.

It’s been six years since Angelo Vitale was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. While trying to clear his name, he was relocated away from the Costa Nostra. Yet, Angelo is coming back a changed man, who is not only feared among the mafia community, but also wants revenge for what was done to him. He sets his eyes on the one he thought he was going to spend the rest of his life with. Abella doesn’t have a clue what await her. Angelo vows to find out what truly happened all those years ago. Though nothing could have prepared him for the truth to come out.

I thoroughly loved reading Beautiful Torment, Angelo is the downright possessive when it comes to Abella and we get to see that amplify as he starts to grow closer to her. There is no denying the attraction that they have towards each other, but even he knows that he can’t let himself fall for her again. It’s the mystery of what happened all those years ago that still hunts them, yet Angelo doesn’t know that those secrets could put everyone around them at risk and jeopardize their second chance at happiness. While we do get a lot steamy/romantic moments between Abella and Angela, I loved seeing the behind-the-scenes operations of how their world works. The story as a whole was well-thought out and the secondary characters made the story that much more enjoyable to read. We get to see the characters come to terms with the past in order to get their shot at a future together and a preview of what’s to come in the next book in the series. I would highly recommend checking out this book, I cannot wait to read more from the author in the future! :)

Only For Tonight by Natasha Madison

Release Date: September 12, 2025
Series: Only For #1
Pages: 463
Genres: Romance, Contemporary, Sports

From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new sports romance. A spin-off from the Only One series!

When one night changes everything.

Ariella

The last time I saw him, I'd just turned eighteen.
Six years later we're face-to-face again.
Neither of us wanted the night to end.
The next morning, we made a pact.
Each of us going our separate ways.
Until two pink lines changed everything.

Jaxon

Life was going my way.
Hockey. Family. All of it.
Until...I saw her.
She was different now.
One thing led to another and we got carried away.
It was supposed to be one night.
Our secret.
Then she's at my door with news that rocks my world.
I'm going to be a dad.

My Review:

Madison delivers a sizzling start to her Only For Series. Only For Tonight is a friends-to-lovers sports romance that’s a must-read!

Jaxon Stevenson has worked really hard to make a name for himself in the hockey world, after all his own dad is among the best in the game. It wasn’t easy growing up with parents that didn’t quite get along, but his dad did his best to connect with Jaxon. They have a strong bond and love for hockey so they often interacted with other hockey families. Although he was a few years older than Ariella Weber, they grew up together as their dads played hockey together and retired at the same time. Now they are still best friends and vacation together. But with Jaxon’s move to L.A, he hasn’t seen Ariella since. Until a hockey event brings them back together, changing the course of their lives forever. Jaxon knows that Ariella is not a kid anymore and when he sees her again, it’s clear that they have an attraction towards each other. It would take one night together and a month apart to make him see that he really wants to be in Ariella’s life. Yet, his past is set on making their lives difficult and Jaxon has to prove that he is the one.

I really enjoyed the overall story and their chemistry. They thought that they were not going to see each other again after the event, but life throws them a twist and a month later, Ariella finds out that she is pregnant. There are a lot of logistics that they need to figure out, but most importantly is if they are willing to give a relationship a try. Jaxon is sweet and caring toward her after he finds out that he is going to be a dad. He goes the extra mile to protect her. After his previous relationship, Jaxon is not really looking to get into another one so soon, but seeing Ariella again changes everything. Their families are great and wholesome, it made the story that much more entertaining to read. The ending was so sweet and gives us a hint to the next book. I cannot wait to read the books in the series. I would highly recommend it! :)

One night. One heartbreak. One man she could never forget.

Years ago, Brooke Snyder gave her heart — and her innocence — to Aiden Sterling, her best friend’s older brother. For one perfect night, he was hers. Then he walked away without looking back.

Heartbroken, she focused on her career, and tried to move on, while he was half a world away. But no man ever measured up to Aiden, and the one time she tried, ended in disaster.

Now, he’s back to help his ailing father, and avoiding him isn’t an option— not when they’re forced to work together and definitely not when she’s sleeping in the bedroom next to his.

The past crackles between them, charged with everything they never said and everything they still feel. Every look dares her to remember. Every touch reminds her exactly what she spent years trying to forget.

Having grown up among the Sterling family, Brooke Snyder has always been close with all of them. Her life along with her mom’s completely changed the minute the patriarch of the family bought the state they lived in. It was also the time Brooke met and fell for one of the Sterling kids, Aiden Sterling. He was everything she wanted, but just when he started to notice her, Aiden dropped the biggest news to the entire family. He was set to pursue his dream of being a traveling journalist and was leaving New York behind. Breaking Brooke’s heart in the process and destroying her trust for the man she once loved. But life has mysterious ways of working itself out and ultimately brings them back together. Now she is the Chief Operating Officer at Sterling Investments and will be working closely with Aiden as he takes on the role of temporary CEO of the company. Brooke has worked really hard to guard her heart for the past five years, yet Aiden seems to want to win her back for good.

For the past five years Aiden Sterling has focused on his career as it took him all over the world as a traveling journalist. While uncovering stories, he is working on his biggest story yet. But not before witnessing what it could happen to those that are trying to do the right thing. Aiden soon becomes the target and his trip back home couldn’t come at a better time. His brother is taking a step back from his CEO duties while his pregnant wife gives birth, making Aiden the new temporary CEO of Sterling Investments. Yet, coming home brings him to the person he left behind all those years ago. The woman who still holds his heart no matter how much he wanted to move on. But Brooke ins’t interested to give them a second chance, so it’s up to Aiden to work his way back into her heart before it’s too late.

I really enjoyed reading Just One More Time, it’s clear that both of the characters have sizzling chemistry from the very beginning. But it’s also evident how much Aiden hurt Brooke’s heart and trust. He has to learn how to open up to her about what made him leave all those years ago. There is also the pending danger that he is in that could threaten those around him. With a level of suspense and lots of steamy moments, I would highly recommend checking out this story and the rest of the series!

🔖 REVIEW 🔖 From Best Friend to Bride by Emma Hart

From Best Friend to Bride by Emma Hart

Release Date: August 22, 2025
Pages: 438
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Would you marry your best friend to fulfil her dying grandmother’s last wish?

From New York Times bestselling author, Emma Hart, comes a brand-new romantic comedy about how no good deed goes unpunished… AKA, the perils of marrying your best friend and accidentally falling stupidly in love with them.

When I find out my grandma only has weeks to live, the last thing I expect her to say is that her dying wish is to see me married.

The only problem is that I am the furthest thing from getting married a girl can be.

Broken-hearted I can’t fulfil her dreams, I seek comfort in my best friend, Fred… Who proposes to me on the spot.

The agreement is we’ll get married quickly and quietly, I’ll temporarily move into the estate he inherited as the Earl of Coventry, and we’ll get an annulment when the time comes.

Nana will never know.

Nothing between us will change.

In the end, it’ll be like our marriage never happened, and we’ll go right back to being best friends.

Until I realise that Fred is a man. A hot-blooded, hard-muscled, big di—ahem—man.

Nana always said that the best laid plans are the most fun to rip up, and maybe we should do just that…

My Review:

You know it’s an Emma Hart book if it’s filled with quirky banter and lots of heartfelt humor. From Best Friend to Bride delivers just that and so much more!

The story follows Delilah Peters as she learns that her grandmother doesn’t have a lot time left and her only wish is to see her get married. Without a second thought Delilah turns to her best friend for comfort and help. Having grown up together, Fred Wellington knows everything about her and considers her family like his own. He’ll do anything for her and if it means permanently marrying her to see her grandma happy then Fred is wiling to do it. Neither of them were expecting to develop feelings for each other in the process. Now they have to decide if giving a relationship a chance is worth it or maintain their longtime friendship.

I loved the overall concept of the story and how Hart was able to give us iconic characters in the process. What makes this book stand out to me is how both families are able to come together and support one another. They might not be connected by blood, but they are still a tight knit family. Their grandmothers’ are hilarious and entertaining. Delilah and Fred’s chemistry is sizzling and things get steamy. Once they live under the same roof is hard for them to ignore their dormant feelings for each other. Fred is truly there for Delilah and he doesn’t want to see her get hurt by someone else. So, there is the protectiveness that he has towards her that turns into something more. Overall, i would highly recommend checking out this story and any other by the author. There are some of my favorite books, you will not regret it! :)

He’s her brooding, off-limits boss. She’s his brother’s newest flame…and the weakness he’s craved for years.

***

Lucas Lyons—head of the Lyons family empire, perfectionist, older brother to the man who used to make Marie’s teenage heart flutter—sees his beautiful personal chef as a complication. A distraction he doesn’t need. A girl he has no business wanting.

Especially now that his younger brother is suddenly very interested in Marie himself.

Lucas knows she’s too young. Too bold. Too tempting.

But the closer they get, the more dangerous the line between forbidden and inevitable becomes.

For a man like Lucas, giving in means losing control. And falling for Marie Zola?

Might just ruin them both.

*Boss of the Year is a Sabrina-inspired boss-employee romance that does NOT include cheating, but does include a lot of angst. If you’re not up for drama, this isn’t your cup of tea.

My Review:

As the second book in the Belmont Billionaires Series, Boss of the Year focus on the much anticipated story of Marie Zola and Lucas Lyons. French delivers a slow burn sizzling romance that will leave you wanting for more!

For the past ten years, Marie Zola has worked for the Lyons family and ever since then she’s developed feelings for the Daniel Lyons. As the youngest in the Lyons family, Daniel is everything she’s ever wanted and hopes to catch his attention. Yet, as a wallflower Marie has always been invisible. When the opportunity of a lifetime presents itself, she takes it to go to Paris to attend a culinary school. Knowing that in a year, she’ll be back as the official chef for the family. Little did she know that coming back a changed person would attract more attention than she originally wanted. Placing her in between the two Lyons’s brothers to try to win her over.

As the head of one of the country’s most elite family, Lucas Lyons, is the older brother who exudes wealth and power everywhere he goes. He is serious while Daniel is the opposite. To Marie, she thinks that she is just another employee to Lucas. Not realizing that he knows a lot more about her than she thought. Lucas is also very patient and will wait for Marie to see that they might be it for each other. Especially after whisking her off on a world tour, given them a chance to grow closer. It’s when the truth fully comes out that Marie would have to make tough choices in order to protect her heart.

I absolutely loved reading Boss of the Year, we get to see the characters develop and overcome every obstacles that comes their way. Although Marie starts off as a wallflower, she turns into a more secure version of herself. But there is still some fears that she needs to overcome and she is able to lean on Lucas for support. Meanwhile, Lucas is ready to shower her with experiences she’s only dreamed of, not realizing that Marie would completely take over his heart. All in all, I would highly recommend checking out this story as well as the rest of the series. The ending was sweet and perfect for the characters. You will not regret it! :)
