The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other.

My Review:

I loved this book! The characters were great and the over all story was fantastic. Katie McGarry did it again for me this time around. She captured the lives of two polar opposites and brought them together by adding car racing in the mix. From the start we get to see a little bit of Isaiah and his past. He has struggled every since his mom left him, and since them no one knows where she has been, expect for Isaiah. But when he has the chance to see his mother again, he wants nothing to do with her. With problems coming his way, he definitely doesn't need another one. But everything changes after meeting Rachel Young.

Rachel Young is a the “perfect girl” with rich parents that have giving her everything, including overbearing brothers that still treat her like a baby. But when you're having the shadow of your dead sister following you around, there has to be a way to get free right? Well that's exactly what Rachel does whenever she feels anxious or just wants to be away for the night. With the help of her twin brother, she does what not other seventeen-year-old girls do and that is car racing. She loves cars and the adrenaline rush that she gets from driving her car. But things don't always end up right, especially when you meet a very hot guy with dazzling looks and tattoos. When the two of them first meet sparks started flying and the connection that they had was instant. They both share their love for street racing, and it is because of that, that their adventure really begins.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it has an adventurous feeling to it and the interaction between Rachel and Isaiah completely draws you in. The writing flowed beautifully and the plot left me wanting for more (especially at the end) :) I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series and I would recommend everyone to give this book/series a try, you won't regret it.
