My Review:

I absolutely loved reading Boyfriend for Hire, it was witty, charming and swoon worthy!

At the beginning of the story we get to meet Nic Evans, a twenty-eight year old male escort who has been working for the Allure agency for six years. In that time he has become one of Chicago’s most sought after male escort. But that’s not what he wants to do in the future, in fact he hopes to one day save enough money to move on to something else. Even though he has it all working for the company, he doesn’t have a serious relationship and his job plays a major role in that. Yet, it’s a last minute job that has suddenly piqued his interest when he is hired to escort a woman to wedding without her knowing that he is an escort. He accepts, but little did he know what his life was about to change forever.

After Elle Alexander finds out that her ex boyfriend has already moved on and gotten himself a date for her brother’s wedding, she doesn’t know what to do. But her friend and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Christine, already has a date for her ready to escort her to the wedding without feeling left out. All that Elle knows about her mystery date is that he is a college friend of Christine’s. Yet the minute she sees him walk in to the cocktail reception she is immediately taken by his looks. He is strong and extremely good looking. Nic becomes her protector for the day and she can’t get enough of him. It is the minute she tries to get close to him that he pulls back right away and she doesn’t know why. She wonders if it’s her, but things get even more complicated when Christine warns her about Nic and his “non dating life.” It’s evident that they are both hiding something and Elle has to make a choice of whether pursing a relationship with Nic is worth it or not at the end.

You are going to fall in love with Nic, he is kind, smart and funny. He is the protector that Elle needs at the moment and the guy who helps her see just how wonderful she is herself. There is a lot of doubt that Elle has and that was due to her previous relationship, but when Nic comes around he shows her that she can be and do anything she wants. They make a cute couple and their interactions were fun and steamy to read. I would highly recommend it if you want to read a cute romance with a sweet ending. I cannot wait what happens next to some of the secondary characters in the book. :)
