by Beverley Kendall
Released Date: Published December 30th 2012 by Season Publishing LLC
Series: Unforgettable You #1
Pages: 294
View/Purchase: Goodreads, Amazon, B&N

College freshman Olivia Montgomery is thrilled at the chance to start over, escape the rumors that plagued her in high school. And she can finally put her juvenile crush, Zachary Pearson, where he belongs--in her past. Then her unrequited love strolls into her French class, shattering Olivia's new found peace, and the feelings she'd thought buried for good come rushing back. Now she can't shake her unwanted attraction to the one guy who can twist her stomach into knots with just a smile...but has never given her the time of day.

Zach's good looks may have always gotten him his pick of girls, but it's the star quarterback's skill on the football field that gives him his pick of the Big Ten colleges. To escape the crushing demands of his win-at-all-costs father, Zach opts for a private university in upstate New York where...his present and past collide. And the one girl he's always wanted but can't have--and a class trip to Paris--turn out to be the ultimate game changer that has him breaking every one of his rules.

My Review:

I'm becoming a huge fan of Beverley Kendall, she writes books that are engaging and realistic. When in Paris did not disappointed me at all. From the characters to the lovely setting of Paris, everything tied in very well and it made it enjoyable to read. Olivia is a very relatable character, I found myself connecting with what she was going through (because I'm going through it myself). As a college freshman, she was expecting to leave everything behind and enjoy her new school/life. What she wasn't expecting to see was Zach (her high school crush). When they end up taking French class together, neither of them expected to find new adventures in Paris, especially love. As the two of them start to admit their attraction towards each other, it'll take much more to get their relationship to survive. Now what I didn't really liked about the book was Ashley, Zach's ex-girlfriend. She got in the way a lot, but it did made the story fast paced and interesting.

The story was beautifully written and I loved the romantic moments between Zach and Olivia. Zach made everything better with his sweet and charming personality. While Olivia stood strong apart from everything that was going on around her. Overall, When in Paris is a great coming of age romance with a glimpse of the city of love.
