My Review:

This book was truly an explosive read, full of emotions and unexpected twists that will certainly not disappoint. In The Love Trap, Nicole French manages to hook the reader from beginning to end as Jane and Eric’s love story concludes.

It all began with a vow and a contract that would ultimately change the lives of Jane Lafferts and Eric de Vries. Now married, they have to face different challenges, ones that will put their love to the ultimate test. It’s at the end of the previous book (The Kiss Plot) that Eric ends up in jail and Jane has to find a way to get her mom back while also protecting her husband from her father. It will separate them in The Love Trap as the two try to find a way to stop her father’s obsession from hurting anyone else. But it’s after a tragic event that will bring them back to their past and now more than ever will they need each other if they want to have a future together.

This was such a great story not be missed! French did a phenomenal job creating a story so believable and swoon worthy. The Love Trap is my favorite book in the trilogy, it’s more detailed and we get to go back to the beginning to when they first get to meet. So we do get flashbacks throughout the story and dual POVs as well. We also get to see just how Eric truly loves Jane. She brought life back to him and he makes sure to show her just how much she means to him (which I loved!). They go through such a rollercoaster of emotions and events that will have you at the edge of your seat. I found myself shocked at some of the things that they go through, but that’s what ultimately makes them stronger as a couple and as individuals. No matter what happens, they’ve got each other and it truly showed at the end. I would highly recommend checking out the trilogy, you will not regret it!

My Rating:

About The Author:

Nicole French is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance. She's also a hopeless romantic, Springsteen fanatic, and total bookworm. When not writing, she is hanging out with her family, playing soccer with the rest of the thirty-plus crowd in Seattle, or going on dates with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to go running or practice the piano, but never seems to do either one of these things as much as she should.
