My Review:

The jaw-dropping conclusion to the Stolen Empire Trilogy will leave you wanting for more. Winners delivers a sizzling and suspenseful romance in Wrathful King. A must-read!

After Reina gets captured, she soon realizes that Amon might not be alive and hope starts to dwindle by the minute. Without knowing where she is, Reina has to be resourceful if she wants to stay alive. Little does she know that her king is getting ready to go to war for her. It killed Amon everyday not knowing where his wife was taken to. He needs those closets to him the most if he is going to fight for the woman he loves. Though revealing truths slowly start to alter the course of events. Reina is going to need him more than anything and Amon is willing to be there for her no matter what. Their future depends on it.

I absolutely loved reading Wrathful King, we truly get to see the characters shine and come to their own all while facing all kinds of obstacles. We see Amon be his usual alpha self, he is stubborn and determined to go after Reina. He is not going to give up on the love of his life. Yet, he wasn’t expecting for someone so close to him to betray him. On the other hand, Reina goes through a lot mentally and emotionally in this book. Things are never the same after she gets captured, so Amon has to remind her of their love in order to create a new future together. There are lots of suspenseful and shocking twists. The very end was perfect, especially those extra epilogues that we get. I cannot wait to read what happens with Amon’s brother, Dante and Reina’s sister Phoenix. All in all, I would highly recommend this trilogy if you’re looking to read something a bit darker and romantic. :)

My Review:

Unforgiving Queen by Eva Winners takes us through a much more twisted and darker romance. Be prepare to dive back into the world where loyalties will get tested and explosive secrets will be revealed.

The story picks up right where it left off in Bitter Prince, after the discovery of a major secret Amon decides to distance himself from Reina. Thinking that with time they can both move on, Amon attends an event with someone whose family has strong connections. He wasn’t expecting to kiss her with Reina witnessing their interaction from afar. The heartbroken look on her face completely devastates him and as she rushes out, he is horrified to see her get hit by a car. That’s when his world turns upside down again. He knows that he should stay away during her recovery, but he can’t.

A part of him still loves her no matter what. With everyone in the underworld wanting to go after Reina, Amon has to be extra careful and protect her at all costs. There is only one way for her to truly be safe and that is through marriage, so when it’s announced that she will be marrying his brother, Amon vows to stop the wedding and finally make Reina his queen. Only there are forces ready to stop them from being together and he has to be ready before it’s too late.

The Stolen Empire Trilogy just keeps getting better, there are lots of shocking twists and turns that had me at the edge of my seat. The chemistry between Amon and Reina is sizzling! We get to see them grow as well and Reina starts to finally see the world behind her dad’s empire. She refuses to be a pawn in the game and starts to fight back. She’s been through so much already so when they find out the hidden truth that was kept from them, it gives her even more reasons to fight for the love of her life. She is ready to be Amon’s queen and claim him as hers. But as just they thought that they were safe, another obstacle gets thrown their way. Although we are left with another cliffhanger, I cannot wait to read what happens next. The epic conclusion is coming! :)

My Review:

As the first book in the Stolen Empire Trilogy, Winners delivers a slow-burn mafia romance in Bitter Prince. Filled with secrecy and twists to keep you reading until the very end!

At the beginning of the story we are introduced to Reina Romero, whose live completely changed when she turned six years old. It took a trip to Italy and an incident to meet her savior, a lion who would one day turn into a prince. But her live is never the same after her mom passes away, Reina knows that no matter how much her dad wants to keep her away from his business, their world is dangerous. Yet, it seems like Amon Leone is set to protect her at all costs. There is an undeniable connection that keeps pulling them together and her crush for him grows just as much. Soon she finds out that Amon’s world is just as dangerous and there are forces wanting to keep them apart.

Amon Leone never expected to feel so strongly for Reina Romero, she was just six years old when he saved her from his father’s wrath. But he is used to saving those around him from the man that he’s grown to loathe. Yet, no matter how much he wants to take his mom away from their world, Amon can’t. Not when his birthright is about to be taken away from him. Adding Reina to the mix brings out a new level of protectiveness for him. She is all he wants and Amon is ready to give everything up for her until a twist of events truly turns his world upside down.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bitter Prince, we really get to know the characters really well in this first book. Winners really lays out their background stories and we get a glimpse of what’s to come in the next book in the trilogy. In the story we get to see the characters grow so is their love for each other. Amon is truly overprotective towards Reina, he knows the dangers of their world and he knows that anyone can use her against him. All the secondary characters, including their siblings really made the story that much more enjoyable to read. The unexpected twist at the end worked really well in the story and I cannot wait to read what happens next. I would highly recommend checking out Bitter Prince! :)
