🎉 ⭐ Top TEN Books Read in 2020!!! ⭐ 🎉

I don't think I'm alone when I say that I'm so glad this year is coming to an end. Who would have thought that the year was going to turn out the way it did. Yet, I'm so happy that we can put it behind us soon so we can look forward to the new year. It's also the time of year when a lot of us look back at what we've read and today I'm rounding up my top ten books that I've read 2020.

Let me know what your favorite book was of 2020 and see you guys in 2021!

Wishing everyone a happy New Year filled happiness, health and lots of books! May 2021 be the better than 2020. 🎉

Here are my top ten books that I read in 2020 {In no particular order!}

1.

P.S. It's Always Been You by Lauren Blakely

Lauren Blakely always makes it to my lists, her books are filled with great storylines and this book in particular had me intrigued from the very start. It has everything, from romance to solving a mystery that turns out to be a great adventure for the main characters. It was a fun read that I would highly recommend.💖🌎

2.

The Breaking Season by K.A. Linde

I loved K.A. Linde's Cruel Series last year and I couldn't wait to read this year's Seasons Series. The Breaking Season is the perfect marriage of convenience story between two Upper East Side villains, Katherine and Camden (characters that we are introduced to in the Cruel Series). It's steamy, romantic and it has a great ending! 🔥😍

Royally Screwed by Emma Chase

I've been meaning to read this book for a while and didn't disappoint at all. Great royal romance with a great twist in the end. 👑😍

5.

The Ruthless Knight by Jeana E. Mann

This was a much darker story, full of suspense, mystery and lots of secrets. It definitely has some very interesting moments between the characters as they face the Columbia cartel and they have to rely on each other to make it out alive. It's a rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end. Would highly recommend checking it out! 🔥

8.

Van by Melanie Moreland

I couldn't decide between Van or Sandy to add to my list, so I have added both for different reasons. Van completely stole my heart, he has so much love to give and out of all the books that I've read this year, he is the best hero/male protagonist by far. I would highly recommend checking out the Vested Interest Series, you are not going to regret it! 💞

My Review

9.

Mafia Casanova by M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken

I love a good mafia romance and Mafia Casanova was favorite this year! It had me hooked from the very start, the characters are magnetic and have an undeniable chemistry to have you reading until the very end.

10.

Sandy by Melanie Moreland

This book surprised me in the best way possible, it was emotional and heartwarming. I can't say how many time I might have cried while reading, it was such perfect. You do need to read the rest of the Vested Interest Series to get a full grasp of Sandy's story and how she got to where she is. But you are going to love it, this book concludes the whole series and it does perfectly. I wouldn't change anything about it and the ending was everything. A must read! 😍

🔖 REVIEW 🔖 Sandy by Melanie Moreland

Sandy by Melanie Moreland

Release Date: June 11th 2020 by Moreland Books Inc
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Behind every successful man there is a woman.

What happens when you’re the woman behind an entire team?

The final book in the USA Today best selling Vested Interest series.

Sandy Preston has been den mother, friend, confidante, and the guiding force behind the men of BAM for years.

Now they have new lives, and hers has drastically changed.

Can she move on and find love a second time around?

Will the men she considers family accept the changes?

My Review:

Melanie Moreland delivers the most emotional and heartwarming book in the whole Vested Interest Series. A perfect ending to such an amazing series, about second chances at love and life.

Sandy Preston has lived a life full of happiness and love. Yet, her life hasn’t always been easy when it came to marrying the love of her life. Her husband Max was twenty-two years her senior and they both faced backlash because of their age difference. But their love was so strong that they were able to prove people wrong, that love wasn’t about age. Her life completely changed and it’s when she got older that she met her BAM boys. The boys that would give her many titles; mother, friend and confidante. They became her world, even more after her husband passed away. Sandy has seen them become the men they are today, rich, powerful and full of love. She has so much love to give that she wonders if she can actually move forward with her life. Start a new beginning.

Craving some companionship, Sandy signs up for a dating site thinking that she would meet someone to spend time with. Little did she know that love was in front of her all along. Having known Jordan Hayes for a while now, Sandy has grown very close to him especially when they see each other at work all the time. They have both witnessed each other grieve for their loved ones and find out just how much they have in common. So it’s no surprise when Jordan asks her out on a date, one that would turn into so many more and as they get to know each other more, the more she starts to realize that maybe Jordan might just be the one for her. Then doubt starts to creep in and Sandy has to decide if she can let go of her past with Max in order to start a new life with Jordan or if she is destined to be alone forever.

I wish I could rate the book higher, it certainly deserves more than five stars. It was great getting to know such an important character in the series. Sandy is the glue that keeps the men of BAM together and we get to learn more about the relationships that she has with each of them. At the end of the day, she might be working for them, but they know who the real boss is in the company. She has seen them find true love and she is happy for them. Yet, they all worry about her and they’re happy to see her start her life again. Jordan Hayes is kind, a hard worker whose job at BAM keeps him busy. He has earned the respect of the men of BAM and he knows that Sandy is precious to all of them. Although he has lost a loved one too, he is ready to move on and prove to Sandy that they have so much love to give and it’s okay to start a new beginning together. I absolutely loved the ending, had me in tears and it was the perfect way to conclude the story. I would highly recommend reading Sandy and the rest of the series, you will not regret it! :)
