Unfortunately for Tom, three days before he was set to get married in Vail, his fiance elopes with her skiing instructor leaving Tom high and dry. With only a week before his birthday, it looks like Tom will forfeit his millions.

He's at least ten years older than she is and he looks like another trust fund jerk with a silver spoon shoved up his...a-hem. But Tom surprises her. Set up on a blind date by Eleanora's cousin, the two bond over books, and after spending just a few hours together, Eleanora offers to marry Tom in order to help him secure his fortune.

After a whirlwind marriage in Las Vegas, Tom and Eleanora begin to realize that they're not as unlikely a match as they once seemed, and their feelings for each other deepen. Burn for You by J.T. Geissinger

Release Date: October 17th 2017 by Montlake Romance
Series: Slow Burn #1
Pages: 348
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

The marriage is fake. But for a sassy chef and an arrogant billionaire, the sparks are real…

Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick’s New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fund-raiser, Bianca can’t refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother’s medical bills. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum—money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract—and a stunning ring.

The heir to a family bourbon dynasty, Jackson knows the rumors swirling around him. The truth is even darker. Still, he needs a wife to secure his inheritance, and free-spirited, sassy Bianca would play the part beautifully. Soon, though, their simple business deal evolves into an emotional intimacy he’s built walls to avoid.

As the passion heats up between them, Bianca and Jackson struggle to define which feelings are real and which are for show. Is falling for your fake fiancΓ© the best happy ending…or a recipe for disaster?

My Review:

From the cover to the intriguing synopsis, Burn for You had me hooked from the very start. Not having read any other books by the author before, I was really impressed with her execution of the story and how well developed the characters are. It’s evident that both of them have issues of their own, but together the chemistry is truly explosive.

At the beginning of the story we get to meet Bianca Hardwick, a New Orleans chef whose popular dishes has slowly made her successful around the city. It has taken her hard work to get to where she is and she is not about to let anyone get in her way, especially Jackson Boudreaux. He might be powerful and rich, but she is not about to let him walk into her restaurant and start ordering people around. But when he does indeed come to her restaurant demanding to see her, she doesn’t have a clue that her life is about to change forever.

Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux may have it all, the money and the looks to get just about anything he wants. His family may be well-known, but moving to New Orleans has prove to be an adventure of its own. As the heir to the family bourbon dynasty, he has been raised to lead, but he wants something else for himself. When his chef suddenly quits, he is in need of someone to help him with his benefit dinner that he is throwing for the Wounded Warrior Project. It’s an excellent excuse to see the sassy chef that has been haunting his thoughts. When she helps him with his project, it becomes evident that he is attracted to her in more ways than one and he is not about to stop at nothing to make her his.

I had such a good time reading this book, it was sweet and funny. It was truly hard to put down, especially with the amount of chemistry that we get. Bianca is such a hard worker, but when she needs money to cover her mother’s medical costs Jackson makes her a proposition that she can’t deny. Marriage. For Jackson, his proposition would not only help Bianca, but it would get her closer to him. When they start to spend time together, the harder it gets for either of them to deny their feelings for each other. I liked Jackson’s personality the most, he is tough around the edges and charming on the inside. He cares for Bianca and it showed. The ending was hilarious and I loved how the author included recipes throughout the story. Overall, I highly recommend reading this book! It will not disappoint at all. :)
