My Review:

Dirty Little Promise is the conclusion story to Emma and Gavin’s love story. Full of twists and turns, Ryan has done an amazing job concluding their story as well as prepare us for what’s to come in the next books in the series. 

After the shocking cliffhanger in Dirty Little Secret, I couldn’t wait to read Dirty Little Promise and needless to say, it did not disappoint at all. At the beginning of the book Emma is still in shock after finding out part of Gavin’s past. She is not sure what to do, she wants to hear his side of the story, but at the same time she is not sure if he is right choice for her. Emma knows that Gavin’s brother, Cooper, will offer her the fairy tale relationship that she is used to reading. Yet, there is something about Gavin that calls to her and she just can’t ignore it any longer. That is when she decides to give him a second chance, but neither she could have predicted the turn of events that would transpire after making her decision. Now she has to convince Gavin that she is in love with him and that is not going to change after he tells her the whole truth of his past.

Gavin Kingsley has been tormented with his past for a while now, he doesn’t want it to interfere with his work or with the relationship that he has with Emma. Yet, it has come to haunt him now that his life was getting so much better, and he is not letting anyone or anything get on the way of his happiness. When secrets get exposed and sides get chosen, it will be up to Gavin to figure out if he is the man for Emma before it’s too late.

Without giving too much away, especially to those who haven’t read the first book, Dirty Little Promise  takes us through a series of events that keeps twisting and turning with every page. It’s evident from the very beginning that Emma and Gavin have a sizzling chemistry that neither one of them can deny. But when it comes to fully disclosing their pasts, it’s hard for them to do that, especially with Gavin. He is the one that has been keeping secrets from Emma, but when she finds out part of his secret thanks to his brother Cooper. It is up to him to fully tell her what has been haunting him for years, more so than ever since his past has come back to hurt him and his company if he doesn’t do anything to stop it once and for all. Told in dual point-of-view, Ryan did a great job telling both sides of the story that had me reading non stop until the very end. The sexy scenes between the characters were raw and emotional. Gavin really needed to have Emma in his life to help him get through his past, and Emma needed Gavin to make her feel wanted and happy again. Both of them got their happy ending, I very much enjoyed reading the ending it was sweet and romantic. Kendall Ryan keeps surprising me with every story she delivers and I cannot wait to read what happens next in Torrid Little Affair. I would highly recommend reading this series, Dirty Little Tease is a “prequel” to the first book in the series and is now free on Amazon if anyone wants to check it out! :)
