My Review:

Having read and enjoyed Boyfriend for Hire, the previous book in the Escorts, Inc series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on The Hookup Handbook. The synopsis and the eye-catching cover had me hooked and it didn’t disappoint at all.

At the beginning of the book we get to meet Case Smith, a very successful male escort who happens to have a mile-long waiting list while also running Allure, the male escort agency itself. He is a man of many talents and he is adding author to his repertoire. But it’s been months since he signed the book deal and he still doesn’t have anything to turn in to his agent. So after he is given thirty days to finish the final manuscript, Case is on crunch time to finish the book.

Yet he doesn’t have motivation especially when he is distracted by another problem that he is having. Case has been lacking in the bedroom department lately and his clients are starting to notice. This is costing him a lot of money so he puts himself on hiatus for the time being. It is after his friend/fellow male escort, Ryder asks him if his little sister can work for them during summer does Case truly begins to feel himself again. There is something about Sienna that cannot deny and the longer he spends time with her the more he wants to make her his. She is everything that he wasn’t expecting for her to be and her help has made it possible for him to get things done. But hiding behind his best friend’s back is not something that Case wanted to do and when things are beginning to feel real with Sienna, Case is going to have to decide if it’s worth losing his best friend in the process to be with her or not.

Sienna Johnson is a recent college graduate who isn’t quit sure what to do with her business degree yet. She has so many hopes and dreams, but never in a million years did she imaged herself working at a male escort agency. Although she is grateful that her brother was able to pull some strings for her, she wasn’t expecting to feel a pull towards Case right away. Though he seemed a bit put off by her at the beginning, she made sure to show Case what she was capable of and wanted something more challenging. When one of her tasks is to help him finish the book on time, she takes the challenge and soon they begin to form a friendship. It is after he starts to do sweet and thoughtful things for her that Sienna truly notices just how much she wants Case. As the two try to deny the sexual tension between them, they soon realize that they might just be perfect for each other.

I absolutely loved this book! Kendall Ryan always surprises me in the best way possible. Her new series is funny, romantic and full of swoon worthy moments to keep you wanting for more. In this book we get to meet two different individuals who manage to help each other reach their goals while falling in love in the process. But they do go through obstacles to get to that point and it all ends nicely at the end. Though I do think the very end felt a bit rushed, it still brought everything together very well. Case will definitely steal your heart, he is kind and has the sweetest relationship with his mother as well. Sienna is still trying to figure out what she wants to do with her career, but the two of them make it work and she gets to do what she always wanted to do. All in all, if you love a good swoon worthy book with an interesting storyline then I would highly recommend reading this books and the previous book in the series. You will not regret it! ;)
