Mari Hart is a certifiable genius who already at the age of twenty-one already has two doctorates on her resume. But being smart has always had its drawn backs and that includes not having the fun that she should have at such a young age. To fix that Mari does something she has never done before, allow herself on night to be young. Which shouldn’t be a problem, but the minute she steps inside a nightclub, her life takes a turn that she has never experienced before. Now she finds herself running away from the people that will not stop following her until they kill her to the very same man that will do anything in his power to protect her.
For billionaire, Alexios Kosta, power and money come easily to him. He is not only a very powerful business man, but he also has the looks that attract just anyone that come near him. But even though he has power, his past has prevented him from moving on. When Mari comes rushing out from the nightclub and into his car, he has no choice but to speed away. Soon he finds out everything about her and the need to protect her is greater than he has ever experienced. Now he has to stop himself from hurting her while protecting her at the same time.
I really enjoyed reading the book, it was easy and fast to read. The interaction between the main characters blossoms throughout the story which made it impossible to stop reading. Mari is smart and at times her relationship with Alexi is hilarious! We do get to find out secrets about the characters that bring twists and turns to the story as well. Now the story was great, but the ending felt rushed for me. I would have liked to have read more about their future. All in all, the story was great so if you’re looking for a fast read then you might want to check this book out. : )
