Broken Prince (Cinderella #2)

by
The thrilling new follow up to the new adult bestseller Me, Cinderella? by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aubrey Rose!

Happily ever after is just what they say in books. Real life is MUCH more complicated.

Brynn can't believe her good luck. Her Cinderella story continues as she finds herself studying math in a castle on the edge of a Hungarian forest. However, no fairy tale lasts forever, and a letter about her mother's death opens up a whole new world of nightmares...

Eliot, finally back in Hungary, is haunted by the lie he told ten years ago to protect his family. Now he finds that he can no longer hide his dark past from Brynn, and time is running out to finish his life's work in mathematics.

The problem that neither one of them can solve is this:

Once broken, can two shattered lives ever be made whole again?
(Synopsis taken from (Goodreads)

My Teaser:

"I squealed as he lifted me up, my feet kicking helplessly in the air. His arms held me tightly against his broad chest, and I flung my arms around his shoulder.
'Come,' he said. 'Come with me, princess, and I will save you from the evil monsters that lurk in the cracks of number theory.'
'It doesn't look like I have a choice in the matter,' I said happily, as he marched down the hallway with me in his arms.
'You always have a choice, Brynn' Eliot said. His voice was quieter, and I hugged him around the neck, placing a small kiss on his collarbone.
'Then I choose to be with my prince.' I said" (Broken Prince, pg. 25)

***I realize that my teaser is more than just two sentences, but I couldn't contain myself. I really enjoyed reading this book very much. :)

Geek Girls Don't Date Dukes (Geek Girls #2)

by

Leah Ramsey has always loved historical romance novels and dressing in period costumes. So when she has a chance to time travel and experience the history for herself, she jumps at it—figuring it can't be too hard to catch the eye of a duke. After all, it happens all the time in her novels.

Avery Russell, valet and prize pugilist, reluctantly helps Leah gain a position in the Duke of Granville's household . . . as a maid.

My Teaser:

"Avery?" The question was whispered, her eyes soft and confused as she looked up at him. He let his actions answer. Bending low, he pressed his lips to hers.

Soft heat. That was the sensation of her mouth on his. His muscles trembled with the effort of holding himself still, of restraining the urge to draw her body tight against his and posses her completely. This was enough. It was more than he deserved and all he'd ever get. She was leaving here, leaving him, forever." (pg. 148)

*I absolutely love this book, I can't wait to read the ending! :) Let me what your Teaser Tuesday is in the comments below and I'll make sure to check it out. Love's Second Chance (Second Chances #1)
by
Korinne Anders had it all. She had the perfect job, the perfect house, and the perfect husband. When tragedy strikes, her world takes a devastating turn. Six months after losing her husband to a car accident, Korinne vows it to herself never to love again. If she doesn’t allow another man in her heart, then there’s no reason for her to feel the pain of loss. This plan seems to work, but is put to the test when Korinne’s best friend can’t stand to see her suffering any longer.

Korinne’s long-time friend, Jenna Perry, has an idea and it involves helping her friend find the spark of life in her soul no matter what it takes. Korinne didn’t know that Jenna’s plan meant bringing back a past love, a second chance with the man that Korinne had to leave in college, but always kept a place for in her heart.

When Galen Matthews learns of Korinne’s loss and that she’s finally moved back home, he wants nothing more than to be there for her. The love he felt for Korinne years ago has never left him, and now he’s given a second chance to not only mend her heart of her loss, but to also continue the love they shared in the past. Will his love and determination make her strong enough to give fate a second chance, or will her fear of losing another love make her run away?

What will Korinne do when she’s faced with a love so powerful that no matter what she does there’s nowhere to run from it?
(Synopsis taken from Goodreads)

My Teaser:

"I don't want to overstep the boundaries you have, but I've missed this. I've missed the way you feel in my arms." His warm breath tickled along my neck, sending goose bumps down the whole expanse of my body. He pulled back slightly from the embrace, and in my heart I wanted to protest. When I didn't respond, he asked softly, "Do you not have anything to say about that?"

"I'm not sure what to say," I whispered.

"You'll know soon."

Surprising me, he laid a soft, gentle kiss upon my cheek before releasing his arms around my waist. He made sure to let his fingers linger a little longer than normal on my hips. I smirked at him to let him know I caught it, and he smiled in response." (Pg. 42-43)

***I know that's more than two sentences, but I couldn't contain myself! I'm really enjoying the book, it's great. :) Leave me your TT and I'll make sure to check them out, thanks!

(Synopsis taken from Goodreads)
My Teaser:

"I glanced over to Kade who was leaning back in his seat with his eyes closed.

And what was with these escorts? One is unearthly gorgeous, and drives me crazy with his presence and touch, and the other looks like a pissed-off WWE wrestler. They're somehow connected to Watchers and On my God! My life is starting to feel like a cheap sci-fi flick. All that was missing were vampires and werewolves. Wait...Vampires? Kade sure looked like a vampire with his pasty white skin.

Oh hell! There goes my ridiculous overly-active imagination again." (pg. 36)
**I'm really enjoying this book so far, it's hilarious and so cute! :)

(Synopsis take from Goodreads)

My Teaser:

"There's no escape, Sophia. If you want to survive, you must realize that in this kingdom, you exist to obey. Do as you're told and we just might allow you to love."

"You asked me what I wanted from you. There really is only one thing you could give me, Sophia."
I glared at him, determined to die with dignity and self-respect.
"Oh? And what's that?"
His answer sent chills down my spine.
"You." (pg.11)

Me, Cinderella?

by
One kind deed can change your life forever...

Brynn Tomlin could never afford to follow her heart. But when she sees a stranger shivering in the snow outside of the college library, an inexplicable urge leads her to buy him a hot cup of coffee. It's just a small act of kindness, a few words of conversation. Brynn should be focusing on her finals, after all, not on the man who looked up at her gratefully with piercing blue eyes.

He could have been anyone - a janitor on break, a graduate student, a bum. But the man standing outside in the cold turns out to be Dr. Eliot Herceg, one of the most brilliant minds in mathematics and heir to a fortune. After years of reclusive isolation, he now finds his heart awakening to the kind girl whose name he does not know.

Brynn has spent her life trying to forget her desires, and Eliot's deep wounds have taken nearly a decade to heal. After so much hurt, will either of them be able to open their hearts again?
(Synopsis taken from Goodreads)

My Teaser:

"I once thought that happily ever after was only true in books. Now, I'm struggling to see how the future might play out if the dreams continue to pale before reality. Every sentence I could think of has already been said a hundred times over, by people whose words come out perfect and beautifully formed, where mine die on the tongue or struggle out onto the page, mangled and imperfect.

But my story isn't perfect, because I'm not perfect. Nothing is perfect except maybe in math, in the line that extends forever in both directions. Math is beautiful, I have always known that, but so is life. And I have grown to accept imperfection." (Pg. 177)

***I really liked this book, it's definitely interesting. I will post the review this Thursday if you guys want to read more about the book :) Leave me the link to your Teaser Tuesday and I'll make sure to check it out.
