1.Get over my best friend’s brother.
2.Remember that I’m over him.
3.Prove I can date other people.
It should be easy.
It’s not.
Setting up a dating website with the guy I’ve been in love with since I was five wasn’t my smartest idea.
Especially since he’s my best friend’s brother—thankfully, she’s okay with the fact I’m pulling a Sandy and I’m hopelessly devoted to him.
Which is why it’s time to get over him.
So I do something crazy and ask Dominic Austin to find me a date. He does—if I find him one, too.
Since we own Stupid Cupid, it should be easy, right? And it is.
My date is perfect. His date is perfect. Everything is perfect.
Until he kisses me…
Three dates.
One kiss.
And a big-ass mess…

My Review:
The Dating Experiment is a friends-to-lovers story that is entertaining and steamy that will leave you wanting for more.
After reading the synopsis, I could’t wait to read the story and didn’t disappoint at all. At the beginning of the story we get to meet Chloe Collins, a twenty-seven-year old who co-runs a dating website called, Stupid Cupid. She is a very good matchmaker and when the opportunity presented itself to work with her best friend’s brother, she took without knowing that working together all the times was going to be harder than she thought. Ever since they met, Chloe has had a crush on Dom and as years passed her feelings started to grow for him even more. But after ten years of harboring her feelings for him, she has decided to move on with her life and meet someone else. When she sees Dom coming in to work late with yet another beautiful client, Chloe is mad and confronts him. Their bickering turns into a full of argument and at the end she asks him to match her with a guy that she would approve. Dom agrees only if she does the same for him. The rules are simple: they will go on three dates and report back with their progress. Yet, little did she know that this would end backfiring on her and now that she knows what it’s like to kiss Dom, she doesn’t know if moving on is the right thing to do after all.
Dominic Austin has the looks to get just about anyone at his beck-and-call and as the co-owner of Stupid Cupid he gets to see women coming in out of his office all day. But no one has his undivided attention other than Chloe Collins. After knowing her for many years and spending time together, he has developed feelings for her that no one else knows about other than his sister. Although they bicker all the time, he loves to fight with her and it drives him crazy that he can’t tell her about his feelings. Not only is she his sister’s best friend, but they’re also business partners and if he admits his feelings for her, he is afraid that it will hurt them personally and professionally. But when she asks him to match her with another guy, he gets jealous and doesn’t know what to do. It’s when he finally decides to kiss her that everything changes and he realizes that he wants to make her his. Now he has to convince her that giving their relationship a try is going to be worth it in the end.
I really enjoyed the story, it was fast paced and hotness. The characters felt real and relatable (with the exception that their banters felt a bit overdone.) Nonetheless, the story was well executed and steamy. Both Chloe and Dom have been in love with each other for so long that seeing each other everyday has changed their relationship. Each is desperate to tell the other how their feeling, so there is a lot of frustration in the book as well. Although they fight all the time about anything and everything, Dom still manages to be there for Chloe. He does little things for her everyday that proves just how much he cares for her (which was really sweet). I can sympathize with Chloe and with how she is feeling. She wants to get the guy, but their friendship is important to her and she doesn’t want to get hurt if he doesn’t share the same feelings for her. All in all, the story was witty and funny. If you love to read a friends-to-lover story then I will suggest reading this story and any other by the author. :)

My Rating:
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.
She likes to be busy—unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
