A hand whips a pink paper heart in front of my face. I halt, take the heart and turn to look at him. “Please tell me that wasn’t on my butt as we left the restaurant.”
He fights a laugh. “It was on your butt.”
Groaning, I hand it back. I suppose a heart on my *ss was an appropriate way to end the night.
He squirrels it away in his back pocket. “And I most certainly did not allow you to walk all the way out here before I brought it to your attention.”
I start to make a face, but decide on a conceding smile. I guess I deserved it.
He smirks, motions to the Escalade. “After you, Miss.”
