Caroline

Becoming a teen mom at sixteen was not what I expected, but then again, neither was being a single parent. Still, I wouldn’t change my past because that boy is my world.

Hockey is the only thing my son seems to care about, so I work two jobs to make sure he can play. I’d do anything to make sure he doesn’t suffer because of the bad decisions his father made.

When he won a whole summer of hockey training, I knew in my heart he was going to have an amazing time.

What I wasn’t prepared for was meeting his new summer coach.

He was magnetic, powerful, and a player—in all forms of the word.

If my life had taught me anything up to this point, it was how to avoid making bad decisions, and Justin Stone was the definition of a bad decision.

I could never be a woman his family approved of. Even if I wished I could be.

Justin

Growing up as the son of a hockey God is one thing. Growing up as the brother of a second hockey God is another. I had big skates to fill, so it was a good thing I loved every second of it.

Summer was my off time, my time to let loose, but when they ask me to coach a hockey camp for underprivileged kids, I couldn’t say no.

But when she walked in holding a little boy’s hand, my heart stopped beating. Or maybe it started for the first time.

They were a package deal, and I knew this—wanted it more than I’ve ever wanted anything. It didn’t take long to realize that no matter what happened,

I would do anything to protect them.

She is the only one I want to be with.

When push comes to shove, I have to prove to everyone that this is my choice, and This is Forever.

My Review:

This is Forever by Natasha Madison is a heartwarming second chance romance that will leave you swooning and rooting for the characters until the very end.

At the beginning of the story we get to meet Caroline Woods, a single mother who has been struggling financially even after working two jobs. To make things worse, her ex refuses to not be in her life and she can’t walk away knowing that he is Dylan’s father. Becoming a teen mom was never her plan and all the struggles that she has been through ever since have made her want to give her boy the world.

If there is one thing that she can give him is her full support when it comes to playing hockey. So when an opportunity opened up for Dylan to be part of a hockey summer camp, she was apprehensive until she found out that the Justin Stone Foundation was behind the camp and paid for experience. What she wasn’t prepared for was to meet Justin Stone, he is kind to her from the very beginning and Dylan was really exited to have him as a coach.

But everything started to change after Caroline starts to get closer to Justin, he is a friend who is willing to help out yet later on lets her know that he wants to pursue a relationship with her. Caroline has made a lot of bad choices in the past and she knows that she has to put Dylan first this time around. However, she still feels the chemistry that she has with Justin and wonders if she can truly move on from her past.

Justin Stone has it all, he has the looks, skill and fame to get just about anyone he could possibly want. So when he sees a mother walking her boy inside the arena, he is attracted to her right way. He knows that he should be focusing on his foundation, but he can’t stop thinking about her. So when he slowly starts to find out who Caroline really is, Justin has even more reasons for wanting to make her his. There are tough decisions that he has to make, but he willing to risk it all for her and Dylan.

I absolutely loved This is Forever, it was sweet and full of romantic scenes between the characters. But what I loved reading the most was the relationship between Justin and Dylan. From the moment they met, they were attached to each other, and Justin pretty much created a strong bond with Dylan. His relationship with Caroline also grows throughout the story and it was great seeing how overprotective he became of her. They both go through ups and downs in the story, but they always manage to stick together and learn to overcome the past. All in all, the story was such a great read, definitely a great start to the new year and the end will literally melt your heart. I would highly recommend checking it out as well as any other books by the author. :)

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**

My Rating:

About the Author:

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
